A 6' guard who is cash from 30 feet out is starting on the vast majority of boy's teams in the country. This guy watches NBA prospects play on TV and thinks that every high school team is built like that. Her athleticism isn't bad at all compared to 16-year-olds who don't train professionally. Some of y'all are imagining grown men who work out, but most teenagers ain't like that.

People are really underestimating the gap of physicality here. The fact 5'6-5'8 women are making her go 3-11 from the field, consistently, shows she's not exactly Steph Curry.
So what you think a 6' breh with a 33-35" vertical can do to her? That's not even an elite elite athlete, that's someone who can barely dunk (can tell from experience) but would be the most explosive/athletic defender she's ever faced on a college or pro court ever.
What she's doing now compared to playing against the men is like beasting in the Euroleague back in the 90's. I'm not even saying this from a place of misogyny or anything. It's literally facts, look at the heights of many women college basketball players. Men don't got the luxury of playing against a bunch of 5'2-5'4 players on TV.

The idea that every high school team has a 6' point guard with a 35" vertical playing bulldog defense is what is silly here.
The VAST majority of high school squads have guards who can't dunk and forwards who are barely over 6' tall. The VAST majority of high school squads are missing their rotations and leaving shooters open all the time. Y'all are treating the elite bball schools in the city as if that's the high school norm. In most of America, teams like this are winning their league and traveling to the state playoffs.
I literally just opened Google Maps to Arkansas, picked a town name at random, and googled their basketball team. That was the FIRST town name I googled.
Y'all are responding like we're talking about grown men who go to the gym. We're not. I was responding to the guy who was talking about the average high school boy on a basketball court, who is gonna be 15-17 and hasn't even filled out his muscle yet.
Even if we're talking about an elite team......watch the average LaMelo game back when he was a high school sophomore and didn't even have height or athleticism yet but was just spamming shots from anywhere he wanted. Everyone knew he was going to shoot 40 times a game and yet 15-20 of those shots were still open without him needing to pull any one-on-one move to create the space at all.
