I'd be cool with them enforcing this as long as they also enforce pulling people over for driving to slow on the highway or camping the passing lane.

I can't remember the last time I've actually driven the speed limit on the free/highway. I usually sit around 85ish...give or take.

That's probably in Wyoming where there is just absolutely nothing as far as the eye can see in all directions

We had stretches like that when i lived in texas. Driving from El Paso to Dallas there are long straight aways with 85 mph limits. Signs posted that said "No Gas for 50 miles" and stuff like that. I remember most people going 100 on those roads.

Lots of city's and counties rely on money generated from speeding tickets and they would lobby against it.

Most speeding tickets probably aren’t from people driving over 100mph

My guess is that most speeding tickets inside cities and counties are for people driving 10-15mph over the limit in 35-55mph areas.

Define too slow

Driving at, or below the speed limit while in the passing lane. It's dangerous when people do this.

Other drivers end up having to speed around them in the slower lanes, just to pass. I'm against giving a car manufacturer or the government any more control than they already have in cars.

In my 20s, I would’ve told you to kiss my whole ass. But in my 30s? I strongly agree. These cars are weapons and having a young man behind the wheel is tempting fate.

Age isn't the only factor. You got 45+ year olds who are finally able to buy Corvettes and Porches, they speed too. Look at Tx2k, grown men with 1200hp cars.

Something like this shouldn't punish everybody. Speeding is wrong, but if there's nobody around, let me do what I do.

Going on Hwy 71 was a speed track because nothing was back there until maybe ‘17
