Same. I love TDKR but that was stupid. Terry McGinnis or Jean Paul Valley would have been better but the crowd would have probably went :what: after the secne.

This. The whole time I was thinking JGL was gonna be Azrael ... and then THAT line. I just :smh: and :snoop:

of all the times I've been to the theater, I've never experienced a collective wave of excitement from a single crowd the way my theater reacted when shorty from TDKR delivered this line.

Dudes were literally like "woooo :ooh:" giving each other fives and shyt

things like this is why I'd say TDKR was my best theater experience. Usually at the theater, even though its a wide variety of people there, it feels you're only watching the film with the people you came with. This time, however, it felt like we was all in that muthafukka together. The collective silence when Batman caught the beats in the sewer...

:whew:

anyway, what would ya'll call your best movie theater or IMAX experience?

Had that feeling first time I saw The Dark Knight in theater. The whole crowd was going nuts at every scene The Joker was in. Still top 5 movie going experience I've ever had:wow:

damn, so basically the feel I get from this is, if you're the typical movie goer, you thought the revelation was dope, but if you're a super batman nerd or comic nerd in general (I don't mean nerd in a bad way, don't get offended) you hated it?

I like Batman and consider myself a fan of comics, but I thought it was definitely a kop out. And I'm one of the few comic buffs that doesn't mind recons or if hollywood deviates from the source material

yea I was in the theatre and I remember that line I was like :gladbron: , I mean the whole theatre was wildin' out. dudes were going crazy. This one dude in the back even got up and pulled out a machine gun and started :bustback: cuz he was so hype.

Definitely my most memorable movie experience.

why?

I remember there being speculation of who JGL would actually be in the film. Dudes were saying Riddler and all types of shyt, but I still got excited when he was confirmed as Robin. When he went into the bat cave, dudes were hyped as hell

Yeah, except he wasn't.

I thought it was stupid as well but I'm not a comic book reader. I mostly ate off the cartoons.
