he's had it, it depends on whose writing him....they've never let it stick though, it's one of those here 1 min, gone the next powers....

as for making it look stupid he went to batman instead of looking for his mom: no, it didnt...he wouldnt risk his mom's life like that....he would do what he did: go and try to talk to bruce...

yea, super hearing helps, but all that shyt going on, why would he know exactly where she was if he wasnt keeping track on her somehow?...seriously, he was in the middle of the fight with shyt blowing up, screaming, etc., but he looked exactly where she was after she hit a couple times....which means he was keeping track on her....not only that, why would she go back for the spear?..she didnt know what it could do...she's smart, but she aint that damn smart....she didnt know what doomsday was....

...i'm not saying it's a fact, i'm just saying dont be surprised if that's what it was hinting at....
I'm gonna need some receipts on this telepathy thing. Show me a scan from a comic or at least point me to one I can look up.

If he heard a person at all he could look in her general direction with his xray vision and see the spear along with her drowning trying to get it.

They did the Kryptonian telepathy thing on the Lois & Clark TV show but I don't recall seeing it in the comics before.

Its bloated, has strange pacing/editing and Lois Lane could be written out without missing much and same goes for the Daily Planet. Every Superhero casting is great but Eisenberg steals the show, fight scenes are really good and the music would be called iconic if it were in a better movie.

Solid 6 out of 10.

I'm with you on all of this, rating including, except for the Eisenberg stealing the show part. He was hands down the worse of the main characters. Thing is, I'm not even sure if it's due miscasting or him so much as the direction they chose this portrayal of Lex being. I feel he probably could've done the Lex Luther part better if it was written/directed for him to be more like Lex is in comics.

I think they wrote this Lex as being a Hipster Bay Area Startup/ Mark Zuckerberg type CEO which is why they went with Eisenberg

here you go, it's power number 7:

SUPERMAN's 10 WEIRDEST Powers

it's not a staple power, but it's ok if a writer uses it cause they gave it to him early on...cause of that, people have played with different variations of it over the years...

superman truly is op as fukk lol...mainly cause they gave him so many powers just cause, but it doesnt mean all of them are displayed/used by writers...they tend to just stick with the staple of flight, super hearing/vision/strength/speed, freezing breath, and xray....

but that's what makes him such a great character....they gave him all those powers, and dont write him using them to rule/control/etc...writing him to still give people a fair chance, believe in right/wrong, etc.....i mean, a great example of this in the movie is when he walks in the hearing and they show him move the swinging door....the man just flew in and could just break the door by tapping it, but he made sure to open it like anybody else to not scare them any more than they already were....it's lil details like that zack & co got right....

...that's why superman was, is, and will always be my muthafukka...

Saw it last night...I won't be seeing it again.

I had no idea what the hell was going on 30-40 minutes in the movie. The storyline/writing seemed scattered and all over the place.

i had to take a few seconds and read the WIkipedia on my phone just to see what the actually story was about.

Ben Affleck is a horrible Batman...not because of his acting necessarily, but all I could see was Ben Affleck (not Batman) in the Bat Cave...it was hard to take him serious. Plus he looked overweight and that 'fatman' Batman suit was horrid IMO.
