Well unfortunately you can't blame the white man for seeing you as one of the "better ones." You can blame no one except black america for that. For it is black america that accounts for a disproportionate amount of violent crime in this country. It is black america that continues to perpetuate what should be age old stereotypes about black people. You've got black women in music videos twerking their ass. You've got black women in reality tv shows twerking their ass. And when you think of what it means to have black "culture" it's impossible to not think of the kind of thug buffoonery you see in these hip hop music videos. Not only that, but you've got worldstarhiphop.com. In which black people will send a video viral over two hood rats fighting each other, but you never see a video viral of anything positive.

So in effect, black america is fascinated with the public display of their own degradation. The white man has nothing to do with this. Y'all cosign this image by volunteering to be in hip-hop videos, producing the videos, and giving these rap artists money to continue producing this stuff.

Now personally I wouldn't say that completely getting rid of hiphop is the answer. But when 90% of the images black people project to the world is a picture that embodies the very stereotypes you negroes wish to do away with, that's a problem. You can't blame whitey for seeing you as one of the good guys.

If young people in my age group have any political views, then they're generic left wing views. I know one exception but he wasn't exactly a republican. I think there are very few people in the demographics I socialize & work with that have right wing views. I think my generation will change America from a center right to a center left country.

On the topic of speaking about politics, race, society, etc. I generally enjoy chopping it up with old black men. Especially old black men who went through some serious life shyt, like Nam vets and ex-cons. Even when they talk nonsense, there's usually some profundity to it.

I'll just say this, working in healthcare, whether its payor, pharma or provider, its actually pretty hard to tell who is a mad-right winger.

We don't hold our breath for politics. Many of us HAVE to talk that real shyt, so we're not afraid to say Obamacare or PPACA when we're out of the publics view. We do this because many of us, when in a place of business, don't want to skew our results. We understand the good and the bad. I for one am not in a position to lobby for change. When your job is on the line, I can say from my line of work, I can't debate about frivolous opinions. We do get a kick out of both sides. It's honestly no different than how folks in the military/banking industry/ etc view media dialogue,(hence why I've ignored so many health care threads here).

Now I will say this. Having worked in many hospitals in urban areas, its KEY that the medical staff gets sensitivity training. Cultural differences play a big part in the communication between patient and staff.

Definitely. I joy soaking in game and stories from old black men who went through shyt. This one cat in particular I know, he's a street dude and was locked up back in the days, but he's a seeker of knowledge and can talk all day about everything from physics to African history to right wing talk radio. Me and my homies just sit around with beers and listen to dude talk all night sometimes, lol.

He talks crazy nonsense as well, but it's mixed in with profound truth. I just try to ignore the bs and focus on the knowledge. It's funny because I find smartdumb niggology annoying as hell from people my age and younger, but it doesn't really bother me coming from old heads.

i know this one white hardcore republican "conservative" dude who's a bud of my bud who uses negro but the way he says it is just eh. he don't like black ppl at all.. he's stuck on the racial sh1t and he'll never get out of it and he really doesn't give a fuq. he comes from money and doesn't give a sh1t. he's got that generation money and never had to work and blames everything on black ppl.

he likes talkin about him and advising everyone. whenever i (only black dude) talk about my wins he acts like he's not paying attention and lookin for a way to counter with something retarded. he looks hurt everytime i or any black person wins..

thank god he has a health problem which his money can't buy and he's dying slow.the first time he got the news it humbled him but after a few weeks he was back to his b.s.
