From my experience, the vast majority of the right wingers/republicans/conservatives or whatever you choose to call them tend to be employed, married, (no baby daddy/mommas), and "do for self" types, many are also gun-nuts to some extent--from what I've come across with liberals/left winged/democrats is the opposite (to some extent) and are typically those who are either unemployed/partially employed/unmarried, very young (less than 30) baby momma daddy, weed/drug enthusiests (they feel drugs should be legal). Occasionally, they can be uber ivory tower types far removed from the average person.

I'm not saying that's how it is in general, but that's been my experience

I have said some things here leading some people to accuse me of being a c00n or uncle tom. The reason why I would be hesitant of saying all this in public is because of how sensitive people are to racial issues. And the fact that liberals have created this atmosphere of political correctness, which makes it impossible for people to discuss race based issues in an honest answer. It's as simple as that.

If a nonblack person expresses any grievances he has with the black community, he is labeled as a racist. It literally does not matter how much truth there is in the statement. As soon as he opens his mouth on the issue he is ostracized.

If a black person does it he is labeled a sell out or an "uncle tom."
And the tone of your voice in this thread also proves another point. It's like you want these people to open their mouth so you can violently threaten them into not speaking anymore. I don't know if that's what you actually want to do, but it certainly is how you're coming across right now.You either want to violently threaten them or you want to ostracize them from society. So again, why would you expect anyone to speak on these issues publicly? This is the environment that people like you have created.

I also haven't encountered many people openly socialist/communist, and I think the premise of this thread applies both ways... there is just a large segment of the left that have no clue what they are endorsing.

I think you're right on people in general being clueless.
As for the whole communism thing I've personally
met some people who openly say they're behind communism.
Most of them are young though (mid 20's mainly...)

Oh and I'd say "racism" and "discrimination"
are an inevitability given the history this country.
I'd say it's pretty obvious that it leads directly to
discrimination of some sort barring government intervention.

I've worked with people who I know have these opinions and they are not afraid to start talking about it. They give me a scaled back version of it most of the time, but to be honest, they sound like a bunch of entitled pussies when they start crying about Obama (like he is any different from any other white President we have had). It's funny to me, but they all say, "See Ghost, you are different, you aren't like them". I ignore that back handed compliment/insult and go about my business. It's all a game that they can't understand. It's not about race, it's all class. When you get to a certain class of wealth that race shyt disappears. Then it's all about who do you speak to and who deserves your time. Certain CEO's won't even look you in the eyes because they are sickened by your presence. A certain former GM CEO was known for being a megalomaniac with cult like behavior (flying into meetings in a helicopter for ten minutes then leaving, requiring everyone to stand and applaud when he arrived). It's all silly season but racism is just an excuse of the weak minded.
