When this came out I was riding around with my brother like we always did, and I put this one, and he said he couldn't listen to it, because he loved the original too much lol, he liked that EDM shyt too

and I had never even heard the original, maybe in a club a few times, but the Gotti one was all I really knew.

to think about how times passes, I have been fukking with Gotti's music since for almost 15 years

This beat was always way harder than the actual song to me. Time flies though, you're right. I first heard Gotti in '02 or '03. Listened to him pretty consistently up until the time I went to prison in 2006...

There's a mixtape he dropped back in the mid-00s that I can't find anywhere or the songs on it anywhere, wish I could find it. It probably dropped in 2005, it had Gangsta Party on it befire it became a commercial single in '06. If any of the Memphis dudes on here have any insight on this type tap in, every couple years or so I'll remember this tape and try to find it but can't, it's like it's been scrubbed from existence. There was a song on there I think called "Grind Hard" or something similar, tape was called "Block Burners" or something similar. Really wish I could find it, it was heat!

So what man, it’s work.

Money to be made, bills to be paid.

Acting like homie was in the strip club throwing money and pouring liquor on women.
I worked a week and half after my sister passed but that was only to keep my occupied and it was COVID still. Some people process shyt different.

Gotti has a label to run that's winning rite now...

For some reason, your post reminds me of when 50 told Lloyd banks to get back to work immediately when his Dad died.

At first, I thought that 50 was buggin but I realized that he was trying to tell that Banks that the rap game will move on quick.

With Yo Gotti, he can't show any weakness or CMG will lose their spot.

Even worst, Gotti will get caught slippin by a random goonie or get locked up the authorities.
