Summary: Louis thinks Caleb just might (key word might) be that dude and acknowledges Chicago has been missing that for a while. Says he would stick with Justin and trade for a boatload of talent to set you up for the foreseeable future. Says by getting rid of the entire offensive coaching staff, you’re acknowledging you don’t feel Justin was the problem, otherwise you would’ve just got rid of him and kept the coaches. Says Justin is still a unique talent that was only getting better and he has the locker room. He says the Bears HAVE to get this right, but he feels it’s less of a risk to keep Justin simply because Caleb is an unknown, and you know what Justin brings to the table with his talent and leadership, and he’ll be even better with more talent. If they draft Caleb and the team struggles while Justin goes to a team with a solid foundation and flourishes, people will be saying how we could’ve had THAT, and you get fired. Or…you keep Justin and the team doesn’t get to where it needs to get to, and Caleb looks like the star everyone said he’d be…and you still get fired lol

He also says while he doesn’t like to use the word “can’t miss,” MHJ is the most can’t miss prospect in this draft.

I personally think there’s a third option where both Caleb and Justin can end up being great players depending on where they end up. It doesn’t have to be that one becomes great while the other becomes a bust.

I think it would be dumb for WSH to give him up. If available, I would definitely make EB the priority hire.

Would be a shame for them at this point in time. I think EB is great. He ought to be first in line for HC being honest.

I think Ben Johnson (if selected) has the right OC there already. One of the smart things Nagy did was keep Fangio, as an example.

Should he be canned in WSH, idk if he wants another OC sidestep and come here. I still consider him the premier hire, though, and think Poles should toss him some incentives to come over here.

You can weaken a rival and know the ins and out how to beat that defense.

And here's the bigger problem. Even if you get a really good OC....he's going to leave for a HC job in two years (maybe 1 if Caleb has a year like Stroud did)

Good hire. The Seahawks have done a lot of interesting things schematically through the air. That plus Geno's aggressiveness and this is pretty good.
