Real talk niqqas In the city are talking crazy I expect cacs to talk crazy and preferring jj or drake maye but niqqas out here do not want Caleb at all :mjlol: I was riding with fields and if it's all a smokescreen and poles ride with fields I will continue to ride with fields but nobody should deny Caleb talent

People are conflating justin as a player and justin as a person. Hes very easy to cheer for as a person meanwhile williams is a supposed diva who drives lambos, cries after losses n paints his nails :dead:

The average chicago nikka off gp aint rocking with that and no amount of numbers, scenarios, logic is gonna change that until hes starting and looking like black AROD

Man who cares what the bears dont play they been the Packers bytches for like 3 decades maybe they need to bring in more divas

If youre a winning org sure, make character demands. Steelers. Got it. 49ers, you bet.

Da Bears ??? :mjlol:

We need to get back to being a respectable on field product to act like were above a diva qb

Summary: Louis thinks Caleb just might (key word might) be that dude and acknowledges Chicago has been missing that for a while. Says he would stick with Justin and trade for a boatload of talent to set you up for the foreseeable future. Says by getting rid of the entire offensive coaching staff, youā€™re acknowledging you donā€™t feel Justin was the problem, otherwise you wouldā€™ve just got rid of him and kept the coaches. Says Justin is still a unique talent that was only getting better and he has the locker room. He says the Bears HAVE to get this right, but he feels itā€™s less of a risk to keep Justin simply because Caleb is an unknown, and you know what Justin brings to the table with his talent and leadership, and heā€™ll be even better with more talent. If they draft Caleb and the team struggles while Justin goes to a team with a solid foundation and flourishes, people will be saying how we couldā€™ve had THAT, and you get fired. Orā€¦you keep Justin and the team doesnā€™t get to where it needs to get to, and Caleb looks like the star everyone said heā€™d beā€¦and you still get fired lol

He also says while he doesnā€™t like to use the word ā€œcanā€™t miss,ā€ MHJ is the most canā€™t miss prospect in this draft.

I personally think thereā€™s a third option where both Caleb and Justin can end up being great players depending on where they end up. It doesnā€™t have to be that one becomes great while the other becomes a bust.

I said it months ago and Iā€™ll say it again, I would be shocked if Poles passed on Caleb. Iā€™m rather convinced they will take him. I do hope we can get Nabers or Odunze at 9 to pair with DJ to weaponize the offense for Caleb. Finding a center / edge opposite Sweat are keys too. Curious if they make one splash in FA or if Sweat was essentially that. I bet they tag Jaylon but having a new rookie qb deal should allow them to spend elsewhere. Maybe you just lock him up.

I can already envision the part of the press conference where Poles gushes about Justin but explains that Caleb was too special to pass on and talks through the advantages and flexibility of starting the qb contract clock over

I feel strongly they are selling Caleb to these potential OCs too to make the job more attractive. Getting the opportunity to show success with a rookie QB is a fast track to getting HC opportunities

JJ is the best at a premier spot. Why wouldnt they lock him up? Could he walk next year if they tag him?

I think they could tag him again. I dont know why they wouldnt lock him up, NFL is just weird with contracts so Im expecting the tag and not a deal - hopefully Im wrong, just lock him up, he ll be in his prime for this contract and we arent paying a QB
