Iāve said throughout this thread that itās not that I donāt think he could potentially be a better QB than Fields (because thatās what potential is). I just donāt think he solves the Bears problems because Fields hasnāt been the main problem with this offense. I simply think the faster track to success is getting more playmakers and and a stronger offensive line rather than replacing QB.
I look at someone like Aaron Rodgers who was a top 3 QB, but never got to a Super Bowl once he cracked that top 3/became an MVP winner. Meanwhile, you had Nick Foles win one and Jimmy G get to one because they had a talented overall roster. Even Matt Stafford (#1 overall pick) never won shyt in Detroit, and only won after getting traded to a stacked team.
Iād just much rather take my chances trying to stack this roster than betting it all on a QB to turn things around.
