Honestly if fields doesnā€™t get hurt itā€™s a chance the bears beat the chargers and saints too smh :snoop:
Take it a step further. They were just down 6 in the Vikings game (And dont forget Bagent ended up giving up a fumble td) :francis:

Starting to look like the team people were hoping for before the season. Just think Chase Claypool being a disaster fukked up the wr core. One more legit WR threat and maybe Fields isnt holding the ball as much.

Crazy we're talking playoffs now when we started 0-4 and back then we were just talking about the Bears potentially having the top 2 picks in the draft.

Fields is playing well, but his glaring issues still persist. Problem for him is heā€™s being judged against the number one pick and everything that brings. Poles has a hell of a decision to make. Fields can realllllly help guide this decision with some road wins against Cleveland & Green Bay. The thing is, his issues of holding the ball and missing open guys canā€™t really be ā€œfixedā€ until the offseason and with continued growth

POLES IS NOT REPLACING FIELDS

thatā€™s going to depend on his evaluation of Caleb Williams. If we are drafting outside of the top 3, I donā€™t think itā€™s even a discussion point, but as long as we have #1 and there is a guy people consider as highly as Caleb sitting there, itā€™s on the table. Poles gets to reset the QB contract, draft someone he thinks is better potentially, get his ā€œguyā€, it basically buys him more time in his job too. I know he is concerned watching Justin hold the ball this long and miss open guys. Poles now will have the opportunity to draft #1 twice, heā€™s passed on Stroud, if he passes on Caleb and he turns into a bonafide star, his career is forever tied to that

trading down again and/or getting Marvin is enticing too, but the QB position is the most important thing in football. I think all options are on the table while they evaluate Caleb still.

itā€™s about Justin not being good, hes playing well right now but heā€™s being stacked up against Caleb specifically here (who is likely to be very good) and every benefit a rookie QB brings to the franchise

these last four games for Justin are huge. beating the Browns in Cleveland would be a huge step for him and this team. Itā€™s a big opportunity to cement himself here

Makes no sense to draft Caleb when we can continue building other areas. Almost every coach they play against always comes out the half saying they need to control Fields. There has to be a reason for that.
