Drake is old, but he’s not a hatin old nikka, at least not yet. Nothing worse than a hatin old nikka that’s bitter about being lapped and surpassed by a nikka that he feels he’s better than

I noticed that any sort of critique throws the masses of young beta males in a frenzy.
These "men" listen to multi millionaires whine over teenage girls and haters and think it's deep.
It's no wonder they are completely unequipped to deal with the harsh realities of the real world.

Idk man. For all drakes flaws, one thing I’ve always gave him credit for is when he reached that ‘I could drop a blank CD and go plat’ phase he still dropped dope music. And even tho we know it’s available to him, he hasn’t gone and made songs with Taylor swift or Shakira

Gods Plan
Nice for What
Laugh now cry later
Even the rich baby daddy song

These are all legit rap songs that just happened to blow. Calling Drake strictly pop is kinda like calling Hark Knock era Jay Life pop

And if you mention the singing, Yasiin been one of the most genre bending singing rappers ever :wtf:

Edit: after watching the video his stance is more nuanced I think I agree

But he’s made a song with Bieber which is the same as Shakira or Taylor. This shyt is commercial pop music.

No one cares he doesnt like drake. Saying drake isnt hip hop is factually incorrect and a dumb take. It is simply a genre classification. The majority of Drake's catalog is hip hop.
Its really not that serious lol, Drake aint limited to hip hop at the end of the day. I thought being versatile was his whole appeal :manny: nikka should take it as a compliment :heh:

I'd say Mos is just hating but I guarantee he has only heard the hits the last couple of years, and if I only heard his hits I'd probably think the same.

I can't picture him going out of his way to listen to a Drake album.

I'm a fan but lets keep it a bean, a good 30% of Drake songs sound like Sephora music.
I fw it because I got diverse musical tastes but a lot of nikkas be like :scust: when some shyt like Passionfruit come on. Drake got another 30% of songs that for them too.

Drake can rap good but his music has no soul

It could have just as easily been made by a white person

He’s not a “hatin old nikka” because he’s on the opposite end of the spectrum: an old nikka that refuses to grow up. He still makes music for teenagers and he relies on the younger generation to do so because he’s naturally corny and unlikable.

That’s not a diss either, it’s why he doesn’t do interviews. Any time drake shows his personality it’s cringeworthy so he always aligns himself with the younger generation of rappers to give himself validity with the young generation. The man wears cornrolls and nail polish :mjlol:

Now that I think about it, Drake is like the Benjamin button of rap. :ohhh:

His music matures backwards. Compare so far gone, thank me later, take care, views etc to what he’s putting out now. On the baby shark side of the game.

About me saying Drake is the better emcee, this is my add on edit to that reply -

Edit - please see my reply after this. I've since listened to other Coli Breh's perspectives on this, apologized and have changed my opinion. I'm a changed man! :hhh:
