The thing is u wanna suck all the air out the container. This sucks out the air and heat seals the plastic together so it's water tight

What blocked cheeses should I get to make Mexican shredded cheese, like the kind that come pre shredded at the supermarket?

One Is a ribeye steak. The other Is a tomahawk steak. I'd never buy a tomahawk normally, but it was on super sale today. Like $30 for a 3lb steak

Good stuff.
But for bags of chips/popcorn, etc just use and re-use a large zip lock bag. Keeps the snacks fresh/crisp.

Vacuum seal is superior cuz it removes the air. However I don't buy many snacks honestly. Just meat, vegetables and raw ingredients mostly.

Most big groceries have decent to good blocked cheese in the deli area. Another thing I do is go to local delis. If you have an Italian deli or something that's a great place to go. Also some of the most expensive grocery spots like Fresh Thyme or Whole Foods tend to have really good deli options for cheese.
