At least gil knows what hes talking about.
The Internet is just full of people trying to make jokes. Or hate on people...
And some of these people already don't like LeBron, so they trying to clown his son.

I don't care about none of this shyt.
I have no bias.
I ain't a LeBron fan ...never been

Young bronny is a 55th pick.
He looks like a 55th pick.
I said before you are evaluating a player picked at that spot differently than a top 1st round.
And I think everyone knows this but it's just hate in nikkaz blood.

Can the kid guard people at this level? Is he fast enough, athletic enough? Can he get a shot?
Picking in that second round you're looking for a player with a good foundation to develop.
Think jimmy Butler.

My evaluation for him when nobody knew what a Jimmy Butler was. "His floor is Dwayne Wade, his ceiling i kobe and Jordan"

He wasn't worthy of the 55th pick, definitely not worthy of the contract he received, and is only where he is because his father forced his team to draft him. Everything else you're saying is irrelevant.

Not worthy of the 55th pick? Stop it
Name me somebody worthy that got picked 55th.

Players picked down there are developmental picks. U see something u like in them and see if they can develop into more

There is nothing to develop. He's a 6'1 SG, that can't shoot, dribble or has any offensive feel

The nikka is a guard who definitely play on ball defense. And has great athleticism.
He definitely can dribble. I don't know where that came from.

But everybody that has an issue. Can y'all name me another 50-60 pick and how good are they?

He does not have the handles a small guard needs to be effective in the league, I don't know what to tell yeah if you believe that. He has good defensive instincts but also can only really guard guys his size. So pretty much you're trying to develop a guy that can only guard small PGs and stand in the corner on offense.

I've already stated we'd have been better off drafting Boogie Ellis because at least he can run a little offense and score

The boogie kid looks real good.
He should have been a pick.

Bronny is a small guard but not a point guard.
He has the handle and the speed to be a scorer. Not facilitate an offense. That's not his game.

His quickness and strength seems to make him a capable defender at the guard position.
The NBA is a league were pat Beverly is a capable defender.
So As long as he isn't getting beat on ball, or pushed around off ball or is strong enough to get through screens then he belongs.

I don't know why you think he is a stand in the "corner on offense" type of player.
IMO at this level, He obviously looks like a small slasher, dunk on somebody, Floater in the lane type of player.

Some players come in with a consistent jumper, most don't.
That shot may start to fall for him. Which will make him hard to guard with his quickness.

A pick that low is a gamble.
If he was available down there, and he showed a seriousness to get better I would have definitely picked him too.
His physicals look good. And obviously the notoriety with his name.

People saying he doesn't belong is wild to me.

But Comparing him to the boogie kid. I think you would have to go with Ellis, he already showed the ability to hit the jumper

there's a reason superstar players don't have superstar offspring. they simply have it too easy growing up :manny:

We're getting more and more relatives and offspring of wealthy players into a league of 450 spots .Quality prospects are scouted early and then placed into nice prep schools and access to basketball camps and other resources.

So we're getting to a point where the league ain't really a meritocracy where a guy without any backing can get into the league. Ultimately the best prospects are getting drafted, but the access to resources before the draft is becoming more unequal.
