Playing part 3

one thing that irks me is the text convos.

they’re so long and drawn out. Find myself just pressing A to get through it after a while

Currently on part 5

this hunting shyt with Saijima is pure time padding

shooting and aiming with the L and R bumper :scust:

Thats exactly where I left off the game a couple of months back. I had to take a break from Yakuza. I ran through 0, 1K, 2K, 3 and 4 this last year.
I am thinking of skipping the rest of this game and moving on to 6. I even started Like a Dragon already, but I keep telling myself to finish 5.

That's great news. Glad the series is getting a second chance.
I've said it a million times, Yakuza crushes Shenmue overall. Shenmue is WAY better fighting mechanics and some the exploration is more in depth with being able to search individual drawers and closets, but outside of that Yakuza > Shenmue in every other way.
Shenmue is an amazing game that was literally DECADES ahead of its time. You can’t compare a game made in the 80s to one make in the mid 2000s just because they’re both Japanese.

Shenmue laid the blueprint:wow:
