XMEN 1's storm was some of the most laughable shyt I've ever seen. Even the newer Future Past Storm was a fukking joke.

Black Panther better do Storm right. And if Halle is doing it again, :pacspit::pacspit::pacspit::pacspit::pacspit::pacspit::pacspit:

Resolution: Make our own and stop depending on Hollywood for validation.
How about they make Storm according to the fukking comic she comes from. What's with this red herring bullshyt

...before, ever giving US that status/shine/POWER:ehh:

Is that why every other black character dies in the show?

whats an African accent ?

Storm is already partially anglo if she has straight white hair

Storm is not Anglo. The white hair is from her mother's side. Her mother was part of a Kenyan tribe that had magical powers and thus ended up with white hair as a result. Storm's father is African American as well.

Philly
wolverine, Cyclops etc all those white characters were played by WHITE MEN

storm a BLACK AFRICAN was played by a BIRACIAL AMERICAN.

So once again, who would you have casted? Name an black African actress that you would have casted 15 years ago. Angela Bassett was a popular suggestion then - well she ain't African either. Wolverine is Canadian, but Hugh Jackman is Australian. Canadians ain't up in arms talking about they're not represented.

As for Halle being biracial - damn near every black American is at least 1 generation removed from being mixed. Halle is black, claims black, speaks for black, and has always been black. The only time her ethnicity was questioned was in Queen. Chad Boseman is about to be Black Panther, Ernie Hudson as T'Chaka and those n!ggas ain't African either.

I don't know how old you are, but Halle was excited about the role since the first movie. She spoke of the importance of seeing Storm on the big screen and told producers that it was important that she did something and had a voice (X2 and X3). She even spoke up about returning as Storm for X4, so that she could have a prominent role and this was before First Class when there were talks of X-Men Origins: Magneto and X4. If anything, salute the few blacks that are willing to take those roles. Because black actors don't do sci-fi, fantasy adventure, anything that strays from reality.

im not saying the actor must be African, but the actress should be BLACK not biracial and have the ability to do the AFRICAN ACCENT

yes great example you gave, HIGH JACKMAN IS AUSTRALIAN, but do you think marvel would let him play wolverine in an Australian accent like 'G'day bub hows about I whip us some meat on the Barbie and then rip ya to shreds mate' would they.

so yeah you proved my point.

you must have never been in a Hollywood studio in your life, or know and writers or directors if you think black people turn down sci fi roles smh. BLACK PEOPLE CAN'T GET SCI FI ROLES. directors deem black people as 'URBAN' so if anyone is cast for sci fi roles its a token, a biracial or a foreign black person. black people are NOT cast as lead roles in sci fi due to directors , casting etc not due to the actors.
