I would wait and play 1 then 2 just based on the fact that they story ties together.

Not saying you gotta play them in that order but there's some cool easter eggs in 2 from 1.

Thanks brehs. I'll for sure be playing this definitive version. Guess I'll wrap up BOTW before this hits. Long ways away, but hopefully 2 won't be a step down.

To the people that never played this I'm jealous. This at least to me is one of the greatest JRPGs ever made. If you liked Xenoblade 2 this one blows that one out of the water.

I haven't looked at too many trailers because it'll be my first time playing through myself and not watching someone else do it.

But I have heard that they slapped this onto XB2's engine or something and this game got improvements top to bottom. Enough for me to go on a blackout and commit the rest of the month to it when it drops.

Really excited for it.
