Dont agree. There are arguments for a 399 DE beyond the cost of the disk drive.

I think the core gamer will still go with ps5. 100$ extra isn't THAT much when u know you guaranteed the next God Of War/Horizon/Spiderman/Naughty Dog game.

Not to mention Sony still spanked MS ass this gen so 7/10 if u were online gaming with friends they also had a ps4. So unless your whole group decides to go xbox this gen most people will still go with the ps5.

But for the person who just needs a console for madden/2k/duty/apex/fortnite? Along with Halo/Gears/Forza and Fable? Yea 300$ is damn near impulse buy territory. MS is going after Marketshare this gen.
