The private sales on PC games have been gone for a while, we do actually own our games tho without having to be forced to login every 24 hours just to check.

BTW, doing everything is extremely easy on the PC @MeachTheMonster...you are just an uninformed fanboy. The whole trading angle is dead on the PC because there are multiple ways to go about it. I can literally give anyone here on the Coli access to my 300+ game library on steam for 30 days within a matter of minutes...download whatever they want, go offline and be good to go.

No catches, No BS.
i paid like $22.50 for Bioshock Infinite day one that it came out. not the $60 they're gonna want on a console. somebody bought a graphics card and sold me the code for the game on eBay with Crysis 3 for $45 combined.

on PC you can wheel and deal and get games very cheap. can't do that on Xbox One. if i pay $25 or so for a game i don't care about the resell but if i'm paying well over twice that i'd at least like the option.

Give your family access to your entire games library anytime, anywhere: Xbox One will enable new forms of access for families. Up to ten members of your family can log in and play from your shared games library on any Xbox One. Just like today, a family member can play your copy of Forza Motorsport at a friend’s house. Only now, they will see not just Forza, but all of your shared games. You can always play your games, and any one of your family members can be playing from your shared library at a given time.

Not to 100% of people, but to 100% of gamers.
This gen and every gen before did not have any limits. Introducing limits now is just flat out greed, nothing more nothing less.

You can play your console this gen with or without an internet connection at all and every gen before this.

It's flat out greed.

I agree there but let me ask you this. Have you seen any charts that specifically state what percentage of gamers have access to the internet regularly? I see people posting charts for EVERYONE worldwide but i havent seen any numbers that show what percentage of people interested in playing videogames dont have access to the internet.

I know how steam works. The differnce here is that you can still buy and trade physical discs at the store. And you can share your entire game library with 10 different people. In order to achieve this obviously some rules had to be different.

There are people attempting and successfully hacking on xbox live right now!

But that's my point, if it gets hacked you will still be able to play your games today...no issues. If that shyt gets hacked and goes down for more than 24 hours what does the Xbox One do? Will you still be able to play your games after 24 hours of it not checking in? That's the problem.

That worked for Live but when it went down you were still able to play games. If this new thing goes down for a day, the system is basically a cable box. Limiting the use of the hardware if it cannot connect online. They are basically putting all their eggs in one basket. I'm calling it now...Live will be hacked and when it is expect to hear about it on CNN.
Oh now you triple :umad: :umad: :umad:
ok let me add you to my friend list and wait 30 days first.
:damn:
As we move into this new generation of games and entertainment, from time to time, Microsoft may change its policies, terms, products and services to reflect modifications and improvements to our services, feedback from customers and our business partners or changes in our business priorities and business models or for other reasons. We may also cease to offer certain services or products for similar reasons.

In the months ahead, we will continue to listen to your feedback as we meet with our partners in the ecosystem to bring additional detail about our policies.
:manny: (Buys game and shares with ppl who pitched in so price is comparable to an XBLA title and keeps it movin)

Gotdamn you nikkas are dumb. I'm not worried about XBL going down...I'm stating that will go down. It's not a matter of if but WHEN. And the way they the system basically tied to Live, if that shyt goes down you will not be able to play games...Period. At least when PSN went do you were still able to play your games. Unless I'm reading what Microsoft said, if the system doesn't check in every 24 hours you will not be able to play the games you purchased. :dahell: That's just fukkery.

Xbox Live has been around for 11 years and has NEVER suffered the outage that PSN has. You are pretending that there isnt an incentive for people to hack the service as we speak and they arent currently doing so.

So when the XB1 launches are the super hackers gonna show up specifically to take down the system so nobody can play games? :rudy:

The new Xbox live getting hacked could be catastrophic :patrice:

you got those games cheap cause someone else got them free with hardware

we actually might see that kind of thing happening with next gen consoles, since they will have this digital service. when you can just distribute codes, it makes it easier and cheaper to do those kind of promotional things

Console gamers get raped and will continue to get raped. Consoles allowed publishers to drive up the price of games. they aren't gonna cut console gamers any deals and as for selling codes given away with hardware those graphics cards cost several hundred dollars. what's the console equivalent?

It's y'all doing the trolling. I could look at each one of yalls posting history and see you haven't gone an extended period without an Internet connection.

It's comical that the main people complaining about an Internet requirment are using the Internet to get their complaints out.

You act like people can't post from their phones. :stopitslime: After Hurricane Sandy, my internet was down for a while and I used my phone for all my internet tasks.
