With Xbox One you can game offline for up to 24 hours on your primary console, or one hour if you are logged on to a separate console accessing your library. Offline gaming is not possible after these prescribed times until you re-establish a connection, but you can still watch live TV and enjoy Blu-ray and DVD movies.

discs are useless.
Then why are we even talking about used games and borrowing games from friends?:mjpls:

you are being way too gullible if you really think publishers are going to just sit there and let microsoft let people share games with 10 people without a catch.
And your gullible if you think publishers will allow one console NOT to implement similar features.

It's almost hilarious going back and forth with you guys at this point :russ:
Yeah you're a funny dude :russ:

Japan, but from the 989
The new Xbox live getting hacked could be catastrophic :patrice:

Absolutely catastrophic. You would think someone at Microsoft would say, "Hey, what happens if Live goes down?" They are selling a machine that is handicapped if Live goes down. But hey you can still use tv....This is dumb as hell.

The console must connect to the internet once every 24 hours in order for you to play games. For many people, from military personnel to students, that's an inconvenience, maybe even an impossibility. Never mind what happens to everybody's console if Microsoft's servers ever come down.

The Xbox One will allow the sale of used games, at "participating retailers", but only if the publisher allows it. Publishers being the very people opposed most fiercely to used video game sales.

There are restrictions on how you can "give" and "loan" your games away. What's more, lending won't be available at launch, with Microsoft still "exploring the possibilities with our partners".

:why::to::why::Pacquiaoing:

With this 24 hour check in shyt Microsoft is just begging for a Hacknarok to happen.

Why do I keep bringing up discs? Because it was the last advantage you console players had...and now that's gone. You guys now have no advantages when it comes to buying games.

The Original Rec Room Gang

Not to 100% of people
, but to 100% of gamers. This gen and every gen before did not have any limits. Introducing limits now is just flat out greed, nothing more nothing less.

You can play your console this gen with or without an internet connection at all and every gen before this.

It's flat out greed.
Wait a minute, didn't the PS3 being $600 make it not 100% for gamers :stopitslime:
Isn't the PS3 primarily an online gaming system, most things for it being online based? What about the gamers who don't have online, how they gonna play with you in Battlefield 4, KZ2,3,4. Warhawk and certain other ps3 games was to use dedicated servers and you USED that as a reason for why PSN was better or equal to XBL back on SOHH
What about PS+, its this great deal so you can get arcade titles that are not accessible to the gamers your talking about. PS+ is a big FU.CK YOU to those gamers, OH THEE HUMANITY!!!
Why are PS stans so insecure about XBox?:lupe:
Because Xbox (already) One
Hackers will figure it out. That firmware gettin crip walked on. :stylin:

you got those games cheap cause someone else got them free with hardware

we actually might see that kind of thing happening with next gen consoles, since they will have this digital service. when you can just distribute codes, it makes it easier and cheaper to do those kind of promotional things
This, plus most games in general will go to a free to play structure which eliminates used game sales as well. This is the future, embrace it or get a new hobby :yeshrug:

so used games market still in effect - only moderated by publishers with the penalty cost put on retail instead of the customer. counting down the days til retail strongarms their way out of this

game sharing is cool, has been for years on PS3
