everyone on this site will have no issue with the x1. The XOne has some dope ass features...like being able to acess all of your games at someone else's crib...genius. I'm gonna be buying a lot of games off the cloud instead of keeping discs around the crib.

like i said i'm going to buy an Xbox One and the only games i will buy on it are Xbox One exclusives that aren't available on PC. i just can't see myself locking into a $60 purchase that has shyt resell value unless its unavoidable.

That's exactly what it is. Private sales of your discs are gone.

The private sales on PC games have been gone for a while, we do actually own our games tho without having to be forced to login every 24 hours just to check.

BTW, doing everything is extremely easy on the PC @MeachTheMonster...you are just an uninformed fanboy. The whole trading angle is dead on the PC because there are multiple ways to go about it. I can literally give anyone here on the Coli access to my 300+ game library on steam for 30 days within a matter of minutes...download whatever they want, go offline and be good to go.

Xbox live has gone down for more than a day once and they gave out free time and games for it. It has never had the issues PSN has had.

That worked for Live but when it went down you were still able to play games. If this new thing goes down for a day, the system is basically a cable box. Limiting the use of the hardware if it cannot connect online. They are basically putting all their eggs in one basket. I'm calling it now...Live will be hacked and when it is expect to hear about it on CNN.

MS believes there are more than enough people in the world with internet that are interested in video games. I agree with that thought.

You can enjoy gaming today without all of these restrictions, why not change it up now? Just because it doesn't affect you doesn't mean that it's still short sighted.

The biggest reason is money, we all know that. But the benefits are pretty cool. It's either this or just pay much more for games/consoles.

And the way they the system basically tied to Live, if that shyt goes down you will not be able to play games...Period. At least when PSN went do you were still able to play your games.
