I don't condone "always on" connections for consoles....or anything....but where do you guys live that losing your internet is some kind of omnipresent problem? I live in a suburb of Missouri, which obviously isn't a technological mecca, and I've lose my internet connection literally 1-2 times in the last year. For no longer than an hour or two.

Alot of Playstation Prodigal Sons will be coming home this holiday...Sony knows they fukked up out of the gate with the PS3 price. Sony took that 300 dollar L per unit when the PS3 first launched trying to do their best. They got better and gave us all this exclusive piff then gen. And even better this year.

Breh not too long ago my internet was out for like 4 days. You know what I did? Played PS3. shyt happens breh, whether it's a storm or equipment failure. How does locking me out of my game that I paid for because I don't connect online benefit me?

And what happen if you go on vacation? I rent a cabin in the woods with peoples like 2-3 times a year. Sometimes they have internet, sometimes they don't. Now you telling me I can't bring my console either? fukk outta here :pacspit:

Almost without fail is there a time where I lose my connection for at least a day. During that moment, not being able to access the internet is an annoyance but being locked out of your new game seals the deal. it's the fact that something like this CAN happen is what irks some of us. Hell sometimes people's network configuration goof up and just refuse to work. I don't have this worry in my mind for all of my other devices, having it for a new device is kind of worrysome.

:whoa:

I already said I'm against the console shyt. I just don't understand how people are losing their internet connection often enough in 2013 that it's considered a regular occurrence.

:wtf:

Are you cats not reading what I'm saying?

This has nothing to do with the console discussion. Imagine Xbox One or whatever it's called doesn't exist.

I'm asking how often you lose your internet, that it's considered a regular problem. It's mindblowing to me, because myself, and everyone I know, rarely if ever loses their connection.

“What a giant load of shyt that was! All buzzwords! They talked for an hour and basically said nothing. What does ‘always ready’ mean?”

“There was absolutely nothing relevant to me in that presser. Nothing about digital distribution or indies. Nothing at all.”
