NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Well they have already confirmed that you will be able to play single player offline. What this means is that later in the console cycle when the difference in specs actualy starts to matter. The cloud will allow the Xbox to stay on the cutting edge of computational power.

But u need to be online to use cloud..so doesn't that mean u need to be online to even access those features?..

"Petraeus says that web-connected gadgets will 'transform' the art of spying - allowing spies to monitor people automatically without planting bugs, breaking and entering or even donning a tuxedo to infiltrate a dinner party."

'Transformational’ is an overused word, but I do believe it properly applies to these technologies,' said Petraeus.

The CIA wants to spy on you through your TV: Agency director says net-connected gadgets will 'transform' surveillance | Mail Online

So the fukk what...

I'm not saying that in the sense of "I don't care of the government spies on me" I'm saying that in the sense that everybody already has a device that can take photos, record video, and record audio that they constantly carry around with them.

Worrying about the Government spying on you through your Kinect is like worrying about rats when your house is already infested with roaches.

EXACTLY. No way Comcast, DirecTV, TimeWarner, Fios gonna let MS allow people to get rid of their set top boxes. Since the XB1 has an HDMI input, I'm assuming the HDMI out on your cable box will hook into the HDMI in on your XB1. If there is an ADDITIONAL device in between, these nikkaz done bumped their gotdamn head.
I read somewhere that the HDMI out to your cable box just plugs into the Xbox's HDMI in for cable.

IGN or Xbox.com I think.

Yea..so always online was basically correct but Microsoft is implementing it in a slick way...lol...they ain't tryna flat out say it..

Always online is incorrect, games can be played offline. Developers will have the option to use cloud computing for Online only games.

I'm so confused...so the Xbox One will broadcast live TV, THROUGH MY SET TOP BOX, but then require an extra device? So essentially, I can watch TV like normal...OR...I can buy this extra device, so I can watch TV through my Xbox?

Why would I want to do that again? It's the same thing I said when they brought all that "watch these channels on Xbox Live" awhile back. Why exactly would I want to do that, when I have my cable box right there? This may be the most pointless thing I've ever seen. Why is it pointless you ask? Because the cable/satellite box is still gonna be required. So you're gonna have boxes in your house that essentially do the same thing.

Microsoft wants you to believe that the Xbox is gonna become this big, center of your living room media hub, but all it's doing is becoming a redundancy. If you think the cable/satellite companies are gonna allow you to get rid of the boxes you rent from them, you're nuts. The only way that'll happen, is if M$ subsidizes the cost...for EVERYONE...and you know what that means? Xbox Live prices going up, Up, UP.

I'm sorry, but color me unimpressed.

MS should eliminate some cable boxes from people's houses. That would be dope. Then you would have people feasting off of a friend's or family member's cable package without the need of a box. That would have made my day if that were the case.

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
they are in 3rd my friend.....and focusing on one market again is not good. MS can't afford to lose their only stronghold (America). They losing everywhere else.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in order for the live TV shyt to work you need another device (not your cable box) to connect to the XB1? Something else ADDITIONAL you have to purchase?

You're such a faq. You're still doing this?

How old are you?

Why does price matter? Are you too poor to afford a nice system?

And please provide links of evidence to show that ps3 won?.. Is there even one multi plat game that sold more on ps3? You can't argue ps3 systems sold more, it wasn't even close. How did they win?

Also, why does always online matter? How is that such a negative? Can you not afford then Internet?

You should get a career, a friend, a family, something else...
