It's not a bad list of games, and pretty solid for the most part. However, I wouldn't spend $10/month to play those games. I would prefer to buy them individually or wait for them to go on sale. That would be the attitude with most gamers, so again a subscription with just MS/ABK/Bethesda first party games doesn't make playstation sub to gamepass. However, they would buy the games individually which would then cannibalize subscription sales when console is main driver at the moment. So, again it doesn't make sense for them to go that route because they would end up making less revenue imo. Plus, if they lose core xbox audience then they lose a lot of money when they don't get 30% cut from microtransactions from Fifa, Madden, Apex, Fortnite, etc.You’re right

They want Game pass on everything reason they want to buy every publisher to force it
cause they have no 1st party games really
look how window os is to pc but it's harder for them to force it when japanese hardware nintendo and sony is the king on the block .
if they can get it on those 2 systems they will eventually ditch xbox as an hardware and it will become a software like service brand (well that my theory)

Seems like content and services is where they are now focusing their success and that means releasing games on playstation and nintendo hardware in the future. It’s clear hardware isn’t a priority for them anymore.
I will be very surprised if the next Elder Scrolls isn’t released on every platform

Gamepass for PC is hot trash. How tf Gamepass going to succeed on a competitive hardware when Microsoft cant even get it right on PC??
whats crazy is that the old Xbox App for PC was actually really good and feature rich. Instead of updating it with gamepass, they came up with a whole new app that soley focus on Gamepass and with NOTHING else. New Xbox App doesnt even have video recording, doesn't sync with Xbox PC gamebar. Make no sense how this new app is so trash.
That's the issue because they're not giving any incentives for PC gamers to use their store. From personal experience it's origins level of bad, and its behind GOG, Epic game store, and of course Steam. I have no clue why they can't create a proper launcher and store to get it working properly.
Sony isn't going to allow Game Pass on PlayStation hardware. They don't want people getting used to having a subscription service that devalues new day 1 games.
Microsoft wants Game Pass on anything that could possible play it because that increases their potential customer pool. To Sony and Nintendo game subscription services are a way to re-monetize old games. They are not a entire business model like they are to Microsoft.
