This is M$, they’re going to force gamepass onto other systems, still sell millions of consoles, buy out the rest of the 3rd party developers, win multiple GOTY awards, and have little kids dressing up as Xbox fridges for Halloween.

Sony and Nintendo will like it and will continue to do nothing about it.

This is all for the for the gamers who have yet to figure out that M$ is here for the people.

they said this shyt at the beginning
“It's a bit of a change of strategy," Microsoft admits.
Microsoft wants to bring Xbox Game Pass to PlayStation and Nintendo. Xbox CFO Tim Stuart said during the Wells Fargo TMT Summit this week that the goal is to make first-party games and Game Pass available on "every screen that can play games," and this includes rival consoles.

"It's a bit of a change of strategy. Not announcing anything broadly here, but our mission is to bring our first-party experiences [and] our subscription services to every screen that can play games," Stuart said. "That means smart TVs, that means mobile devices, that means what we would have thought of as competitors in the past like PlayStation and Nintendo."

Straight from the horses mouth, no one actually reads the articles i assume :coffee:

Stuart also mentions that Activision and Blizzard's games have gone from lower-margin third-party entities to high-margin first-party. Call of Duty on Xbox will also go from low-margin to high-margin and Microsoft will be able to drive high-margin sales on PlayStation and Nintendo as well.

seems they're talking about selling first party games on competitor's platform

Just kill the xbox and maybe we can talk
And give us the location to @MeachTheMonster and @The Mad Titan so we can transform them into Sony loyal fanboys by injecting that Sony DNA in them like the fluid from attack on titan and this will work. Need them two top generals taken care of to assure a Xbox uprising doesn’t ever happen :mjlit:

Makes sense because subscription services are where the money is at.

They don’t have to have the best hardware, just be the best spot to use your hardware
