I feel sorry for Xbots. I mean it's hard following a console's successor that may not even be a success. You have to grasp for dry straws to make a compelling argument these days. We got ludicrous outburst like the brotha who said "you gotta pay the cost to be the boss " except the guy forgot that there is no premium to be had.

I just hope that with all this talk about what console will be the best the developers make games that takes advantage of all the supposed horse power that's gonna be in them. I mean madden better be on some next level shyt. If they don't then all this arguing and stanning will be for nothing. Sony needs to step their online game up cause it pisses me off that it takes 20-30 minutes to download and install system updates and game updates. That's the one thing that makes me happy that I pay for live.

That's finally gonna be fixed in the PS4. They announced at the PS4 Event, that there will be second processing chip to handle background stuff.

the only thing more expensive in the ps4 is the memory, but like I said, Kinect 2.0 offsets that and then some.

didn't happen this gen. only games you will see optimized for the most part are exclusives. PS3's exclusives clearly showed the power of the ps3.

If the Xbox is $500 and the ps4 has better hardware, then the ps4 will cost $600 again.

Publishers have already decided to make connections required for play regardless of the platform.

And extra options on how to pay for the console are actually a good thing. Don't have $500 to put down, then pay a little more over time. Don't like that idea pay the $500 and be done with it.

Sony will be stuck with its $600 price tag and again only the most loyal Sony followers will purchase the system until the price goes down.

again NO one was watching Blu ray like that, you couldn't even find more than 2-5 blu rays in wal mart for the 1st 2 years the system was out.

Most people didn't even have quality flat screen tv's if they had em at all.



They killed the backwards compatibly after the 1st year on there product just took it out and people where like ok thats fine...



Not many people could justify having a ps3 at the time if they weren't balling or just loyal fans. But they got it anyway...


Its some crazy double standard when it comes to other consoles though.


Infact when the OG xbox dropped it was way more powerful than the ps2 and with smooth online gameplay and people still hated on it.



I always was into games, so I'ma get the system with the best games or highest quality games but got dang, sony has fan's eating out the palm of there hand.

What u mean noone was watching Blu Ray then?..if u had a damn ps3...u were...if u bought a blu ray player..u were..and walmart?..more than walmart sells movies...bottom line...other blu ray's on the market costed almost twice the money at the time...and it had a FREE online experience...speak for urself about the backwards compatibility...cause there was games that was STILL coming out on PS2 when PS3 dropped...such as God of War 2...etc...
The xbox came out and people still hated on it...u right...thats cause Sony STILL had the games on lock...the variety...Xbox was fresh...it had to establish itself and every other console had a hard time against Sony..even ones with equal or more power...from Dreamcast to Gamecube to Xbox...and I loved all 3 of those systems....ESPECIALLY Dreamcast....which Xbox bit straight off of anyway...problem was the lack of games...between all 3 systems...thats why they failed against Sony...there was other reasons for the Dreamcast...
You know what tho?..I still enjoy my modded OG Xbox...I still enjoy my Dreamcast...and I basically use my Wii damn near exclusively as a Gamecube...either way..that has nothing to do with this Gen...the price of the original PS3 was justified cause of the price it costs to make it...and the quality of the parts installed...u got more than what u payed for and they recieved less than what they payed each system...they overdid it a lil bit...thats all...either way...if we even talkin games this gen...PS3 had damn near all the exclusives...360 didnt...Ive always owned all systems so im not even on no fanboy shyt...after the OG Xbox...microsoft been nickel n diming like a muhfukka...charging people to get access to shyt they already payed for and would otherwise be free anywhere else....this shyt they are tryna do right here...is not cause of superior build quality. ..its charging people to play games they already payed for...it aint right...subcriptions n shyt for a gaming system?...u shouldnt support this bs they're tryna do either...even as an Xbox fan...but its all rumors at this point so who knows?..

You sound so emotional right now...MS can set the price as they see fit regardless of how expensive the hardware is and if this rumor is true,they are choosing to sell at $500. Probably in part of Kinect 2 jacking up the price and being closer to profit margins.
