You sound so emotional right now...MS can set the price as they see fit regardless of how expensive the hardware is and if this rumor is true,they are choosing to sell at $500. Probably in part of Kinect 2 jacking up the price and being closer to profit margins.

Ps4 will be boxed with a PSkinect do you think that wont drive the cost up?

Rumors have stated that the ps4 will cost anywhere from 450-800 if the ps4 does contain more powerful hardware it will cost more its simple economics.

You 3cepts like to throw all logic out the window in order to pursue your "Sony is better narative" but history and common sense tells us the more expensive console will cost more to the consumer.

I think that an always-on Xbox is directly in keeping with Microsoft's strategy for all next-generation platforms, including Windows Phone (all versions) and Windows 8/RT, which are designed to work as if you are simply connected all the time.

nikkas thinkin the ps3 wont be the same price or higher they cant afford to take huge losses on consoles

no bluray/cell/backwards compatiblity and off the shelf parts. it's not gonna be 600 or even 500 (maybe a premium model at 500).

I'll take a self banning from any console related threads for a week after the official price is revealed if it's not 450 or less on the ps4

PS4 has not promoted always on as something they are championing. MS and EA are definitely looking to shut down used games with this move. they aint foolin no one.
