your boy Thurrott just said so. As has others with insider information. the list is too great at this point to say they are lying.
PS4 has not promoted always on as something they are championing. MS and EA are definitely looking to shut down used games with this move. they aint foolin no one.
of course MS can backtrack on it. But there's too much smoke behind this bruh. yall doing wishful thinking hoping it's false at this point.
No he didn't. He said he has documentation that says "always on" but it doesn't go into details about what that actualy means. Everyone has seen the same documentation that says it will be "always on" and the kinect will be "required" it doesn't say a connection will be required.
Now why would they use the word required for one thing and not the other if they both are in fact, required?
If true, this just cements my want of leaving the xbox brand next gen.
What the fukk is MSFT doing?

shyty gifs don't change reality
the reality of requiring you to install to the hard drive (hopefully not proprietary again ), requiring kinect, requiring you to be online to play a game period, yeah....
we mad alright....
How are they going to sell 76 million xbox 720's with always on internet? Who are they going to sell it to with PS4, right there as a more powerful system that allows used games and can be played offline. You xbots need a firmware update.
will you take another week off if sony requires installs too?

the installs thing isn't bad to me.
To be fair to our Xbots heads this always online thing isn't that big a deal. If it becomes problematic for their users you can easily remove it with a software update
It's not like th Hardware is trash on the 720 as well or is it
