PS4 has not promoted always on as something they are championing. MS and EA are definitely looking to shut down used games with this move. they aint foolin no one.

No he didn't. He said he has documentation that says "always on" but it doesn't go into details about what that actualy means. Everyone has seen the same documentation that says it will be "always on" and the kinect will be "required" it doesn't say a connection will be required.

To be fair to our Xbots heads this always online thing isn't that big a deal. If it becomes problematic for their users you can easily remove it with a software update

How are they going to sell 76 million xbox 720's with always on internet? Who are they going to sell it to with PS4, right there as a more powerful system that allows used games and can be played offline. You xbots need a firmware update.

A lot of cats don't game online like that unless its Madden.
Its a bunch of games that people play offline to get their gaming in.....

If Xbox is trying to make sure I pay them x dollars a month for an online subscription or else I can't play Skyrim offline, I got a trick for em.....

It's not like th Hardware is trash on the 720 as well or is it

it's already inferior to the PS4, but since they are using similar setups, we shouldn't get fukked over on most ports now.

MS can't just changeup the hardware setup at this point without a major delay, so it is what it is.

the always online DRM will be huge if true. I can see EA requiring an always online setup for their games though. And the always online DRM being mandatory on the xbox does lead credence to the rumors of blocking used games as well.
