We haven't seen or heard anything official from Microsoft, at this point there would be ZERO reason to pay 500 on a xbox besides that being someones system of choice.



When it comes down to it over all unless it was a sony exclusive even with superior hardware the games that dropped on both system always ran better on the xbox and looked better because 9/10 it was dev'd on a xbox kit. When the Ps3 was going for 500 most people didn't even use the blu ray and blu ray dvd where going for over 25$ a pop. nikka's was coming in buying romantic comedies used just to have a blu ray.

So again whats the point in have the horsepower if your just going to go below the speed limit most of the time.


I worked at a gaming store from 2004-2006 and still do it when I can for fun part time and aint much changed. People are mindless zombies when it comes to sony... Not so much nintendo and microsoft.

I don't get how people dismiss the stuff sony does and bash nintendo and microsoft so badly.


And to keep it 100% I've had some of my best gaming experiences on ps1 and ps2 so its no bias.

Sony's got it's loyal following. Similar to Apple but in a smaller scale.

Publishers have already decided to make connections required for play regardless of the platform.

And extra options on how to pay for the console are actually a good thing. Don't have $500 to put down, then pay a little more over time. Don't like that idea pay the $500 and be done with it.

Sony will be stuck with its $600 price tag and again only the most loyal Sony followers will purchase the system until the price goes down.

600 aint happening again bruh. No cell or bluray to make the cost a premium this round. If the PS3 dropped at 400 dollars in 06, Xbox wouldn't even be poppin like that. And now MS is about to pull a ps3 only this time with parts not even premium?

the MS (suits) being greedy is why. they get a lil bit of success this gen and already trying to suck even more blood out of their consumers. Basically saying yall too into live/xbox to even leave. Same shyt that got Sony in trouble in 06 even though the system was a cheap for what was inside at the time. Kinect 2.0 being standard and built in is rediculous.

There is no reason the new xbox shouldn't be 400 with the off the shelf parts they are using.

I agree, but you are more of the exception than the rule. Most mufukkaz are paying retail price in store or renewing with the system. You are not the rule.
