Yeah I think as fans we've been spoonfed the Fox mediocrity for so long we're going to need to hold their feet to the fire and have a decent compromise we're all not going to get what we want.
@Norrin Radd and dudes who want things a certain way truth to be told I have my preferences that differ but as long as it's dope, respectable to the source material and is a great movie IDGAF.
We've been waiting for so long now the anticipation is killing us!
And Kevin is lying his ass off. He's got storyboards and shyt in the early planning stages.
Yeah, they def already have plans in place. You see how quick they were able to insert Spiderman into the MCU.
I was fine with Mutants/X-Men staying at fox (if they could get their shyt together), always thought even in the comics x-men/mutant-verse felt like it's own thing really.
My chief #1 complaint was always, not even the lack of quality at times or fukked up story line but lack of risk taking. Marvel made 4 trash ass movies (IM2, IM3, Thor 2 and AOU) and didn't lose a step cause of variety and risk taking.
No Genosha, Marauders, Shi'ar Empire or Omega Red? The constant Charles/Magneto shyt? Mystique? The Wolverine infatuation? No Mr. Sinister? The shytty ass Apocalypse shyt?
That's not even touching FF. They literally, not including the Wolverine solo pics (1 a mess...2nd one good 3rd classic)...made the exact same fukking movie for damn near 20 years....despite all of this creativity at their disposal.
This shyt can't leave Fox fast enough.
As long as the the other MCU characters aren't all up in the X movies I'll be straight. X lore is too rich to be bogged down with the rest of the MCU.I wouldn't say it works better as a separate universe. I would say the X-Men and Avengers traditionally don't interact with each other like that. Avengers don' GAF about the mutant plight, and Cyke don't care about no Avengers. So I would like the see X-Men as a part of the MCU, but just on it's world like it is in the MU. Just how Gifted is to the x-verse, how Cloak & Dagger, SHIELD, Runaways and the Netflix are with the MCU. Maybe a couple of characters interacting, some references but overall....nah.
I think the problem is do you reboot the X-Men, and if so do you age up or down?

No More Mutants
Yeah. He did the same to Spidey w/ that "one more day" shyt.I hate that god damn moment, house of M ruined so much about the x-men and the really cool things that comics were exploring. Another shytty idea by Joey Q
the x-men could work for the MCU if they reset their universe after infinity war, which is possible with the infinity gantlet. It would be better serve though on its own.
Yeah. He did the same to Spidey w/ that "one more day" shyt.
Straight up erased the "back in black" storyline, and now no one mentions it
You could easily make 4-5 X-Men & FF flicks and just do after credit scenes (or small Easter eggs) without Avengers shyt.
That I agree 100%. In fact it deserves it.
That's not to say those movies wouldn't still be coming out...just (Bob Arum voice) let it marinate.

Well some of the problems are how do you have a character like magneto doing some of the stuff he has done like hijacking the entire magnetosphere and threatening to reverse the electromagnetic poles and not have the avengers involved when it is a clear threat to the entire world and he has a giant space ship floating in the atomsphere. To comicbook fans you know why but in the movie goers eyes that will lead to questions galore
