5/10 hmm, sounds better than I expected. I would've initially given it a 2.
if I wasn’t practically raised on x-men I’d probably give it a 2 as well...been reading this shyt ever since I could read

In reality though, they were fukking up the franchise from the very first movie. People were just so glad to see X-MEN so they overlooked it.
Simon Kinberg is literally the W.O.A.T
How can you call yourself a writer and not know the history of a character you're writing?
Last rememnants of a planet that the Phoenix Force destroyed in the past. I legit just finished watching the movie. The character literally tells you who she and her people areMade no attempt to explain Jessica Chastain character at all...she and them other mufukkas was just in the movie to get special effected

Logan was a masterpiece and I don’t want to hear anything bad about Deadpool eitherHow they manage to fall off so bad after first class and days of future past
Those were great, I was talking about the X-Men main series.Logan was a masterpiece and I don’t want to hear anything bad about Deadpool either
Apocalypse and dark Phoenix were train wrecks though.
Which makes perfect sense for them to chase the Phoenix Force right...seeing as how it destroyed their home planet
I'm tempted to just link you to the Wikipedia page about the race of aliens they're based on but maybe you know alreadyShe's clearly able to absorb the Phoenix Force and would have if Scott didn't stop her. Professor X correctly guessed what she was gonna do afterwards. I haven't even said what I think of the movie yet, but when plot points are literally told to you through exposition, I'm not one of those people that's gonna play dumb cause it's the cool thing to doWhich makes perfect sense for them to chase the Phoenix Force right...seeing as how it destroyed their home planet
You're named after an X-Men character, and in the paragraph I left out you state how silly it is that she would be able to absorb the Phoenix Force(I agree). So it seems you care about the source material. If you cared about the source material, you'd be cool with the alien race they chose because it's true to the source material. If anything, they made a mistake assuming a lot of people knew Dark Phoenix outside of the cartoon run, and they should have delved deeper into it's origins. Again, I haven't even given my opinion on the movie, but I'm gonna need nikkas to make up their minds whether they actually care about the source material or not. It's not that, it's the point that they used "generic alien race #1" from Getty Images that nobody gave a fukk about.
Reason why this is so fukking stupid is that out of most of the intellectual properties, the X-Men might have the GOAT alien race with the Shia'r. Why not use that? Or the creepy ass Brood race? Or the Technarchy (Warlock. Look him up.) who can even take human form if they wanted, which would fit right into Dark Phoenix's stupid ass story. Whoever wrote this shyt either doesn't know or doesn't care.
