Goes all the way back to 91 when Rogue was ULTRA sexy in the Savage Land in the legendary Uncanny #269-275(274 is maybe a top 20 X men comic ever). He saved her from certain death...and ever since, shes always been drawn to him in some form or another. She almost ripped Wolverines arm off at the end of Magneto War when he went for the kill...lol. Hilarious. And the thing is..it was always Rogue pursuing Magneto...this actually happened before the Rogue/Gambit love story began.
