Not even speaking as one of the most cynical fans in all of tsc, but what could possibly have generated any incentive to watch? Basically we know nothing big is likely to happen tomorrow and that they won’t be starting up any compelling storylines since they get even lazier during football season and use it as an excuse for declining ratings, nobody is over, the belts are all ugly and mostly worthless, nobody has any direction, the guy they push as the top face has about as much personality as 2005 era Rob Conway and has mid 2000’s Jeff Jarrett heat, and it’s been painfully obvious for years that not only does the company pay no attention to what the paying customers want, but they actively go out of their way to give them the opposite of it and rub it in their faces the entire time. It’s basically the last Jedi in pro wrestling form with Vince and Stephanie as rian Johnson and Kathleen Kennedy.

Show was fascinating. Seth & Dolph had a slow pace opener for 2 guys you'd expect to really go & get the crowd going, they turned Becky because these people they got writing can't write a babyface to save their life, Finn just randomly broke out the demon paint for a guy he's already beat multiple times, Orton showed up for no reason & then left just so Jeff could stand up & start clapping, Brie just couldn't be bothered with caring about her husbands match for some reason, & they wasted about 10 minutes with Elias out there that straight lead to nothing

They popped when he won, then pulled it together to boo after a minute. There was a "You both suck" chant, but also a "Let's go Roman" chant in the match itself.

Some of it was having Braun out there, but the crowd in general wasn't anywhere near as bad as the Mania crowd.


I doubt they let Braun get any heat off him tomorrow night. I wouldn't be surprised if he and Roman both get beat down as part of his exit fukkery (because nothing says great fall feud like watching two dudes who clearly are second rate go at it ).

Braun will definitely be Lesnar's next big program, whenever he does come back though.

I actually think Brock will invoke his rematch clause and just before the match starts, Braun gets involved again and some type of fukkery happens then Brock disappears for a few months then comes back after the UFC stint right back at it with Braun

You can make a case for Summerslam here. Ziggler/Rollins, AJ/Joe, Bryan/Miz can certainly be on par with most of what Takeover gave us last night.

Still the tag match from last night undoubtably match of the weekend.

Raw doesn’t have a world title picture. They’ve had 2 title matches without Roman in the last 13 months and he’s been champ none of that time.

Damn, so this was no better than your average raw taping while being presented as the second biggest show of the year
