:comeon: Mick was one of the better brawlers and storytellers in the biz he just happened to have his most memorable matches in hardcore type bouts.

Well hip hop hooray for his 1997 kill or be killed matches..that stuff didnt get all that over and didnt mean jack shyt until he humanized himself at the end of those New Age Outlaw beatings at Summerslam 98. You didnt race home to watch the 3 faces of Foley or Cripple H..any of that sidekick shyt. Dude got screwed over at Survivor Series 98 and got no fukking reaction during and after the whole damn match. Him working opposite of Rock and McMahon got him sympathy chants every two weeks or some wack shyt like that. They had like a 3 on 1 handicap match with him one time on Heat with Rock/Bossman/Shamrock beating the fukk out of him and the crowd not giving NO fukkS AT ALL about it. Hilarious.

I was in the building at summer slam 99. It hurts to admit how pro HHH Minneapolis as a whole was that night. Austin was kinda stale by then. foley was pretty much meh at the time, when he won there was a general :why: vibe all around. This I remember.

-P-

I wasnt into the Game crying push at all..sick of it two weeks in really. Its my time and all that feminine gay shyt. Dude looking like a big fukking sissy talking tough. The match ended to a boring reaction and even worse when Cripple H won the next night as the crowd chanted Rocky nonstop during the match like they didnt even matter.

The only thing I and most people cared about in the WWF in 98 was Austin/McMahon. Foley didn't even get truly over till the switch in January 99. I don't really care about all that or the ratings, though just strictly on what he did in the ring in each fed he's been in dude deserves more props. He's not just some Sabu type.

He is a Sabu type but he has promo capability and doesnt botch as much. The reason he matters is because he fell off a damn cage against Taker. Thats it.

Bret Hart getting screwed over by Vince which put the heat on the McMahon character, Austin, and Rock are why WCW and ECW are out of business in 2012.

agree with Mcmahon being a tad higher. HHH is a piece of shyt but he was a big part of that era. and yeah Trish should be ahead of the APA

The biggest problem I have with hhh is that it's kind of like outside of dx he was almost pushing himself , due to his connections . He was over but he kept trying to force himself to try and reach Austin Rock level

Well it's on record now, Mick Foley is the same in the ring as botching ass Sabu :heh:
Why are Goldust and Bret Hart on there?

I mean, I can kind of see why Goldie is on, but Bret? :dwillhuh:
If you believe the Attitude Era started around 96-97 then Bret and Goldust are a lock in a top 25.

Summerslam 2000 is reflective of Cripple H and his worth to fans. Got pushed as a tweener for the match. Storyline was about him/Angle/Stephanie and the crowd no sold their confrontation before the match like it wasnt shyt and kept chanting Rocky. The ultimate proof that no matter how hard you push Cripple..he's second rate..just like he was forced to lean back at Mania 18. If you are a real icon, you dont have to tell no one. The fans know.
