I know he wasn't there when it was in full swing but if Shawn is Top 10, Bret should be too. They both kicked it off. The Hart Foundation angle is one of the best things from that whole period.

Michaels didn't kick anything off. He got kicked out of his spot for Sid Vicious at Survivor Series 96 and was losing smiles and shyt. He basically was ripping off Nash and Hall but with more homosexuality involved. Bret had the excellent heel turn promo the night after WM 13 after a near 5 star match with the more accepted and wanted Austin.

Trish was a NOBODY in the AE compared to those guys.

Hold up...Trish was a real big deal. She was getting HUGE pops for taking anything off and getting heat for covering up while with Test and Albert and her face turn at Mania 17 was 100% legit. Lita was MUCH more loved and over but Trish and Sable were big deals in the Attitude Era. Sable lost alot of steam in 1999 though.

Trish was not a draw during the AE. She would not belong on a top 20 list from that era. Sable, Chyna, and Lita were (especially Sable) draws during that period when Trish was still coming up. She did do the stories with the McMahons, yes. But she was not an iconic character by any means. She was Sable 2.0.

No way would I put her on an AE 20 Icons list. ICON. Not just top characters, Icons. There are plenty of men and at least two or three women who would go ahead of her in originality and impact. She picked up where Sable left off, but was not an original and no one was buying tickets to see Trish Stratus.

The other 3 women were iconic in that there were actually people buying tickets to see Sable, Lita and Chyna.

The only two females that should be considered for this list are Chyna and Sable. They were around several years before Trish and had more wow moments to me.

Not a draw? She was a button for heel heat..you touch her or go after her, the fans BOOED hard. If she had a BF, the crowd NEVER LIKED It until the huge pop for the Rock kiss. Sable was not a TV draw or anything....her Playboy did do big sales thanks to her being apart of the Rock/Austin era and her benefiting from their crowds and the attention they provided for all who was under their umbrella. She didn't NATURALLY on her own mean that much. Her returns afterward proved that point when she was no sold over and over again.

The only two females that should be considered for this list are Chyna and Sable. They were around several years before Trish and had more wow moments to me.

Alot of women came before Trish but were they over like Elizabeth or some shyt? Let's see..Sunny was more popular than her teams except for LOD...Sable definitely was bigger than Marc Mero....Debra was liked...Trish got over huge..Lita was cheered nonstop and was involved in angles with the Rock by mid 2000 in Raw main events...etc.

A oddity character that fans cheered for with the right heel. When he lost the retirement match, no one gave TWO fukkS. When he was bytching about someone tossing his book in the trash during the Al Snow push, you couldn't pay NO ONE to give a fukk. You from his part of the world though so I can understand a broke wannabe nygga hurt by his overall unimportance outside of WWE.com.

Crowd almost always seem disgusted when Stephanie shows up for anything...Big Show? Kanes career was dead until he latched on to Daniel Bryan to stand out after that Embrace the Hate goofiness. Cripple H got You Tapped Out chants and boos after losing clean. Only 4 guys the fans really care about every time they show up in this day and age is Rock/Austin/Taker/Bret.

Kinda funny you said AJ runs RAW for a 700k segment increase this past summer and yet shyt on someone whose first title win changed the tide of the Monday Night Wars as well as having the highest rated RAW segment in history.
