Ain't That Something
Superstar
Exactly, who would throw 7 milli away like that.Ultimately it cost him $7 million

There is a lot of truth in this post.doesn't matter you stay loyal to ya dogs
1. you DONT go after a player you beat in the finals before you take care of your superstar HOF legend
2. you DONT let a 27 yr old center who just completed his 1st season in the nba finesse you
3. you DONT treat your superstar like a 3rd option
riley played himself you take care of Wade 1st no exceptions.....how the fukk u think u gonna land durant when it's just u spo and mick at that meeting and NO players...let alone your superstar durant was prob like why are yall the only ones here yall not the nikkas ima be on the floor with cmon man if he had took care of Wade first Wade prob woulda gone with the nikka.......
then the white thing how the fukk u let whiteside finesse u first of all idc what anybody says the nikka was never gonna leave.....lakers say they wanted him what they offer him ? why he aint take that ? then you think he gonna go play in dallas with dirk ? and leave his homies ? i woulda threw the same number at him the lakers threw mozgof and say take it or leave it lil nikka u aint done enough in this league yet...and then the main reason i dont think he woulda left outside of it being miami it's this chick on twitter the follows me that hassan be fukkin with they got pics and all that together lets just say she another reason that nikka wasn't leaving all in all riley played himself by chasin durant and getting finessed by whiteside and not taking care of Wade first
They always say one of the hardest things in sports is dealing with a aging star who still wants to be treated like a star you have to handle them with kid gloves. Wade is still a great player but long term he isn't the future going forward and giving him so much money hamstring the team going forward. Both Pat & Wade are being stubborn & both don't want to be the one to cave first. Both of them need to check their ego at the door
SVG said the same thing about coaching from his time dealing with Shaq in Miami. Wade wants to be looked at as the long term future and first priority, but he's 7 years older than Whiteside. That's not practical. Paid what he's asking over a 2 year span might be though. They always say one of the hardest things in sports is dealing with a aging star who still wants to be treated like a star you have to handle them with kid gloves. With 20 mill left in the cap room, I'd resigned TJ and move Richardson to starting line-up and resigned Green and pick up some D-leaguers for a one year deal. Pat should take the cheap route. I wouldn't waste my time trying to sign any role players from the NBA. Go cheap and wait for the cap to rise up.so what can/should they do with the 20 million left once wade dips
def should get in on Willie Reed as a backup big
the Rockets got Nene for their 2.9 exception, that might have been a good look if they had already rapped up this other business.
I would try to get shooters that might go for low/one year deals Gerald green, gary neal maybe, thorton....
