It has nothing to do with Hassan. Mickey needs to go over the cap to give Wade more. fukk the luxury tax he's been a major part of bringing this team its only 3 championships.
Its not fukking impossible make it happen. You think if Durant said he wanted to sign with us they couldn't come up with a way to give him more than 40 million

The fact remains that Wade is the best player on our team. Yeah he's old but he wasn't looking for a 5 year deal. You could've made a better 2 year offer and avoided all this drama. Next year and the year after he will still our best in all probability. Heat higher ups jumped the gun on his falloff. The rest of the laegue is correctly treating him like an all star .

1) Pat asked Hassan to give up money if they signed Durant but didn't ask for the same sacrifice to sign Wade?!
2) Durant was a pipe dream all along. You actually think Pat has the clout to sign Durant without Wade helping with the recruiting? Please. Wade said it best, its a league that's based on relationships and nobody in Miami had one with Durant.
Its funny that when it comes to Wade, Pat is always like, "This is all we got left bruh" because he was last on the totem pole once again. That shyt would wear on anyone...Especially the main guy responsible for your 3 championships and the guy who was your best player last year at age 33.

Everyone keeps forgetting last off season Pat went at Wade in the exit interview telling Wade he better lose weight. That he has to change the narrative about him because of the last few years of him always being injury. That he has to change his body and how to handle playing hurt vs playing injured.
Wade did that he played in 74 games. He played thru lil aches and pains that years before he would of sat out for rest. He did everything Pat told him to do then bam this is how he gets treated so yea i can see why Wade people would be annoyed. I get called out by Pat i answer his challenge and then i get lowballed and ignored..

Wade was the best player on our team and did everything he was supposed to do at 34 years old. You don't think he deserved to be treated with more respect? How much more does he have to sacrifice? He's already sacrificed money and he's asking for security now.

No Wade to Whiteside connection means Whiteside probably doesn't get as many looks, we lose our best half-court scorer and playmaker while shortening our depth chart considerably on the perimeter to go along with our lack of depth at the C, etc.

Doesn't matter if he benefitted somewhat, it's not something that many players would do. After he brought Miami a championship, he did everything he could to try to help the Miami Heat make big splashes with the belief that Miami had his back.
Miami benefitted more than anyone. You don't think it's weird that Bosh has received more money than Wade from Miami with his last contract alone?
