what are you saying? If the team never did nothing in the regular season. Do you think they are going to magically do it in the playoffs? The heat need him to protect the hole but he is not that great of an on the ball or help defender which he refused to do.
Paul George, Kawhi, Jimmy Butler, and Draymond Green all averaged 7 points or less their rookie season. Since when do we make indictments on 19 year olds after 1 year? None the less 1 who played his best basketball when the season was on the line?
and we got to stop with the excuses. Al Jefferson and Valanciunas both ate Whiteside's lunch in the playoffs

This organization and staff invested a lot into developing Hassan, yea including Spo, guys like Juwan & UD. Sure he doesn't owe anybody anything, but he's the one that said getting paid wasn't the bottom line. He's the one that said he wanted to be part of a winning program. Now if he wants to jump ship for a Dallas team that won't make the playoffs then cool, I wish him the best and hope he enjoys the money. As I said yesterday I'm not worried about anything no matter the outcome.

As far as I remember before he showed up, the team was dead last in rebounding, near dead last in offensive rebounds, and we're very poor in rim protection and shot blocking, while the heat as a whole were a very poor defense, yet he didn't even get 24 minutes a game on a calendar month until April 2015. @((ReFleX)) you put it fairly well. About to lose our second cornerstone in 3 years yet pat wants to extend a coach who gives josh McRoberts major minutes at center. shyt is not looking good.

Yall dudes can say what you want. Once Whiteside went back to the starting lineup shyt went downhill. When he was coming off the bench that's when the team went on that run.

this is ridiculous. hassan was essentially a SECOND year player....do you really expect him to be perfect?....even spo said his work ethic was crazy....that he was always working to get better. the leap he made from 2014 to last season was insane. of course he had flaws....what sophmore year player doesn't?....doesn't change the fact that he completely gave this team life when they signed him....when we were dead last in rebounding and getting shyt on routinely. but lets forget about that. lets forget about the raptors out rebounding us 50 to 30 in game 7......lets forget about all the games in the regular season where hassan singlehandedly carried us to victories on both ends. lets forget about steve clifford saying his whole game plan revolved around hassan in the first round. lets forget about all that. because he's a 2nd year center who had trouble in the pick and roll. that's all that matters brehsBreh

Breh McRoberts didn't play major minutes @center unless Whiteside was hurt or in his two quick fouls routine. What team was you watching this year.

Have we got another guy who can give us 14-15 points on 60%+ shooting? Have we got another guy who can give us 12+ rebounds a night in roughly 25-27 minutes? Have we got another guy to protect the rim at all? He's one of 4 players on this team that have any upside, and he covers more holes on this team than any other player does besides Wade. Remember what the team looked like in 2014-15 without him? The defense getting torched in the paint every night, the team getting beat up on the offensive glass? If he's so expendable, then do tell who we replace him with that's good for the team in the short and the long term.
