Been saying it since the game where spo benched Whiteside all 4th quarter against Minnesota and then Washington when the game was close. Cuban was gonna be in his ear right away telling him how the Mavericks wouldn't do that shyt to him, and how they would never try to bring him off the bench for Stoudemire in 2016.Everything Cuban told DJ last year he is probably telling Whiteside now

Him & Spo just could never get on the same page every time Whiteside made any little mistake Spo was quick to bench him. Spo monitoring his minutes like he was a old guy he is a 27 years old elite big man and he barely playing 30 minutes.

This aint even about Spo its about the almighty dollar. At the end of the day nobody knows more about Whiteside than the Heat, they seen him day in and day out for almost 2 years, Cuban hasnt. If they aren't willing to give up a max for him there's a reason for it.

That above all, is reason to fire him if we lose him to Dallas. In crunch time against the hornets, spo wouldn't even consider running plays for him. Told him "just try to grab rebounds". How you gonna treat this guy like he's Joel Anthony status on offense? I know I've been kinda doomsday about this shyt lately, but he's got to be our building block going forward if this team wants to have any sort of future in the short term. There's no other option that works for the heat. It's Whiteside or bust because Winslow and Richardson are not franchise cornerstones.

i hope justise kills in summer league. he been thru a full season + got playoffs exp now he should be cooking these undergrads thats just steppin in
also doesn't help that Spo now has more say on personnel. supposedly there are conflicts within the heat on whether to pay him the max or not.

Whiteside is a turnover machine breh. His post game is slow and lumbering. There is no coach in his right mind going to run a play for the Whiteside we all saw in the playoffs.

Our best young guy averaged less than 7 points and less than 2 assists last year on a 42/27.5/68 shooting slash. If there's no bright young stars to work with, why would a free agent come here? So they could try to be 2007-10 Wade? He's the only option to be the team's cornerstone for the next 5 years unless Riley can get Kevin durant, and even then, he's gonna leave
to play with a 35 year old Wade and justise Winslow and to be coached by spo on a team that might not have a front court at all for this coming season? You do know he was hurt basically since game 3 or 4 of the first round right? I'm assuming you didn't notice at all that good things happened all year offensively when he would touch the ball within the flow of the offense, while the team resembled a high school offense pretty regularly when the ball didn't go near him.
