I havent even been posting cause its the same cats that been PMS'ing for 2 weeks now. As bad as yall think it is, this wasnt even a nuclear offseason. kept whiteside, retained all our young talent, filling the gaps as best they can with a couple shooters and nice young rotation big Willie Reed, who a lot of ppl wanted last summer. I'm remembering all the posts that said this is a 25 win team :heh:
:stopitslime:you calling me out i was the one that said 25-30 wins:manny:hey i'm a pessimistic
guess its from years of being a jets fans.:mjcry:
long as are young guys develop an continue to expand there games wins are secondary to me this year:manny:. I don't see playoff i would be happy as hell if they surprised me and made it

Eh, let's look at the pros and cons of some of these new players

James Johnson-

Pros
-Good to great on-ball defender and matches up well with certain types of players of players

-Athletic, can create a bit off the bounce, and can punish teams in the paint

-Good locker room guy. Well-liked

Cons
-Horrendous off-ball defender. Loves to over help and is almost too eager. Tends to make decision that cause someone else to look work

-Unwilling passer. Offense and ball movement tend to suffer when he touches the ball. Needs to be directed consistently.

-Not really a reliable shooter. Needs to be played with spacers in offense but really smart defenders on defense.

Overall: A matchup dependent player. He gives some toughness and size though but he needs to be used sparingly or developed well. Could possibly blossom under Spo who is a great defensive coach because he has the tools and willingness to be a good defender.

Maybe some of you other brehs can discuss what you know about the other new players. I didn't see much of Ellington or Reed in actual NBA games because who the fukk watches the Nets?

with each day that passes by and we don't hear anything about bosh, the more it looks like he's never going to play for the heat again

I heard a rumor the heat and bosh are at odds and he dont trust them with his diagnosis. His team believes they are waiting til feb when his contract can medically come off the books

At this point they need to protect bosh. This happened twice. Don't risk your life for this man :to:

We have no half court playmakers. A lot of games will be over at halftime

Well if beno comes back he is a good half court PG and this time around when there is no offense and it slows down toss it to our max center and see if he demands a double to
Kick it out to a shooter
