Exactly because if you knew the context of the rhymes The WU is probably one of the most Pro-Black groups ever.

Ol' Dirty actually said to a white crowd What's up my devils?

Now you could say when the Wu got that white audience that they did play down the Pro-Black NGE stuff but it was there.
These nikkas were talking bout supreme mathematics. But this clown said Eurocentric

Tri-state area Italians are such a trip w/the dissonance, listen to nothing but rap and bite the style but stay on that :mjpls:and don't see the contradiction :mjlol:

Southern Italians were conquered by Moors, so I assume there is a bit of schizophrenia...they know Black African DNA is coded in their genes...as reflected in their tannish skin tone. ....but their White Americans.

Love
Want black people to hate their own artist? Just make sure white people act like they LOVE it. Sit back relax and claim responsibility.

Works every time :coffee:

Bro, during this time frame how many cacs were watching those old dubbed kung-fu flicks where some of their content & style came from? I highly doubt many & anyone saying otherwise is either too young or a suburban.

I've said this before but my older brothers & me no matter what we were doing on a Saturday we'd damn sure be home at around 3 PM to watch Kung-Fu theater which featured those movies lol. Wu was for young Black youths period not cacs
Yup Kung Fu theater. It used to come on at noon in my city
:blessed:

That’s one of the reasons they resonated with me and my friends at the time. We were 12-13 at the time 36 Chambers dropped and the Wu was on some other shyt. It sounded new and old at the same time. They reminded us of the older dudes in their late teens early 20a who hung out on the block around our way

Wu tang hasn't had a good album since Forever. I haven't seen a group skate for so long

Yeah they talked around it but if you knew you knew. I mean they actually said I'm sending Devils back to the caucus mountains. It don't get no clearer than that. Then you got songs like Heaven or Hell, Glaciers of Ice, & Motherless Child which were technically robbery caper rhymes but it was also about taking back things which were stolen.

I'm a superfan (wouldn't tat myself though) but when I was a kid I used to just break down shyt that they said.

And if you want to talk about the Wu associated acts like Shabbazz the Scientist and Killa Army

and this was just blatant:

9 felons, most of whom are 6 ft plus, known for violence......its every white suburbanites wet dream and they use groups like Wu and NWA to live their alpha male fantasies vicariously

cacs love gravitating toward rap artists/groups that appear not to have them in mind and that we’re deemed to be rebellious as fukk...case in point the 2 groups you mentioned...I saw it w/ public enemy as well
