I disagree. There's not one track on 36 Seasons that feels like Felt, or Ruckus. RZA can do what very few can....and most of the Clan still sounds the best over his production (Deck, Rae, Meth, U-God, GZA...)Also, The Revelations did a couple of Wu projects that people ish on as well. I just can't get into 36 Seasons. A couple tracks are stellar, but Ghost is just missing something. And it's okay to like both.

This may not bring the ruckus like early wu, but this is definitely grown man Wu. The sound is still there...Pioneer the Frontier, Felt, Crushed Egos, Ruckus in B Minor

The beats aren't the problem on 36 Seasons. Ghost is. Plus, the rap audio book format is kindy nerdy. Ghost is also the weak link on the Wu Tang album. It pains me to say this. 36 Seasons is dope. Some really great beats. But A Better Tomorrow is a fleshed out album that somehow works in a bizarre way.

Pioneer The Frontier & Necklace are just monster songs.

Ghost ain't no damn weak link on anything. And he probably had the best verse on the Better Tomorrow album.

I really like 36 Seasons but ABT is a better all around album.

I mean everyone is talking about Pioneer and Necklace, dont get me wrong, those tracks were fukking great ... but come on man .... its like people forget about the rest of the album. Look at miracle ... if you heard that track before the hook got added on, you would think its a 5 star classic no matter how polished off the final track sounds. Rza somehow managed to fukk the track up with the gayest hook i ever heard in my life.

come on dudes ... theres no such thing as a grown man wu ... wu have always been grown. Wu Tang Forever was way more "grown" than this new album ... compare the lyrical content of Forever to the new album and tell me which album is more grown. Grown why? because RZA decided to make the album like a movie soundtrack? because hes using guitars and real drums? tell me why this album is more grown and why we should give credit for that.

Wu has always been grown and more mature .... look at tracks like Impossible, A Better Tomorrow, 4th Chamber, Can it be all so simple ... are these immature and unpolished tracks?

The irony behind all of this is that, the more RZA has tried to make Wu albums sound more like cohesive and like a movie ... the less creative and imaginative his music and production has actually gotten.

compare Liquid Swords to the new wu album ... you tell me which album sounds more like a fukking movie

I agree with your RZA messing up Miracle and Wu always being grown points but this album is a very enjoyable listen. The cohesion is stellar and they all come correct. Their performances on here is much better than what they brought on Iron Flag and 8 Diagrams. This is a better album than 36 Seasons.

it blows my mind that people can even compare 36 Seasons to this. outside of Double Cross and Homicide the beats are trash on that, boring 2-3 bar loops with no style of their own.

cats keep harping on 1 minute out of a 66 minute album, looking for reasons to dismiss. makes no sense from 'fans'

This is better than 36 Seasons but I liked most of the beats on 36. 36 Seasons is a dope concept album but I don't see going back to it that often. That Homicide track tho is one of Ghost best in awhile.

Like I said, people just wanted to hate on A Better Tomorrow after the initial round of bad and mixed reviews it got. One cat in here was sh!ttin on it and didn't even hear it and I'm sure he's not the only one.

He's off beat on both albums. He has one verse on ABT that sounded pocketed. I can't remember the song off hand.

I don't really see the off beat sh!t other than the Ruckus In B Minor track. And if you notice it anywhere else it probably has more to do with these vocals being sent via cyberspace, back and forth in e-mails, rather than actually being recorded in the studio with the producers and sound team. Ghost still performing at a high quality.
