i feel like in 1994 cats would have shat on release yo delf.

Cold World, All that i got is you, etc.

these dudes would've hated SHIMMY SHIMMY YA, hating on these songs got you bullied in my school. you'd be on timeout spending lunchtime by yourself and gymtime as close to the teacher as possible.

(not saying these songs are on THAT level, but they're FAR from wack)

the bad hooks shyt was way the fukk overblown. im actually legit disgusted by that fake ass knock at right now. this is why i hate fake ass wack online ass nikkas. i barely noticed the sung hooks EXCEPT for miracle which i love. But, hey, I love 'Chop Chop Ninja' too. I was one of one who knew that was an ode to Caron Wheeler.

Wow, I get back online this morning and I'm pleasantly surprised the turn this thread took :obama:

Even @Big Mel likes the album:obama:

He likes it...he really likes it :obama:

Props to the homies @MartyMcFly , @The Ruler 09 , @SoulController , @Brayden , @JCalli, @Danie84, @Vincenzo_Corleone, @nieman , @mr x, @Ayo!-BEZ , @g-ice and the few others who actually sat down, gave it some thorough listens, disregarded the bad press and negative/mixed reviews and objectively judged this album. It's a really solid album...from start to finish. Props to the Abbot.

Okay. I'm up to 'Miracle' and I've liked EVERY SINGLE fukkING SONG. And 'Miracle' may be the best yet. That hook ain't nowhere close to offensive at all. shyt is almost brilliant.

Oh snap, here go Preacher Man. Lemme get back to my drink/clan album.
word, ive never heard a hip hop song like this. wu fans still reluctant to change, ol "<3 analog, fukk bobby digital" ass mufukkas

yall know its either a) the black "i only listen to whats on teh radio, fukk nthem old nikkas" fans or B) elitist whiteys who necver bumped wu in their prime finding things to complain about or totally disregarding what wu IS (For example I seen some CAC on ughh.com say masta killas verse on miracle was a throwaway when tghat verse is what connects the tone of the hook to the gambino wu style THEY CREATED..). Seeing all this hate really fukking annoyed me cause this is a solid album

and newsflash to anyone whos interested, ALL THE WU ALBUMS ARE RZAS ALBUMS

they never heard 36 chambers until it was finished.. fukk.. they didnt hear their solos till it was done...

Thais is a great album, the hooks arent nearly as bad as people are saying. They arent "Unpredictable" or "Starter" from 8D bad. No song is shyt unlike soul power from iron flag or a cpl tracks from 8D. I wish their was more discussion on this album.

Im welcome to the idea of us starting a seperate thread to really go into the album. thatw as the joy of old wu albums.

@Big Mel im glad you enjoyed bro.

One thing that dampens the mood of the rolling out of this album is that Ghost and Raekwon again aren't publicly showing support for the album. And Meth this time too :snoop:

These n!ggas not showing up for video shoots, press, showing support on social media...nothing.

Breh, that tape is absolute fire

I wasn't talking about the We Wanne Thank you...but more so the Plan B, Ryan Leslie, the last Faith jawns...things of that nature.

Method Man delivered the strongest on the album, too--he's the glue holding it together song-to-song IMO.

And Masta Killa since he ALL over it. Here we go, one more listen today and I'll let it sit for a while.

Now that makes more sense!

I don't think there's a smilie accurate enough to describe my face after reading this.

Seriously I can't remember the last time I heard a more horrific song. I haven't listened to anything Wu in years, and judging by the few songs off this album I listened to, it should have stayed that way - this shyt makes me feel ashamed to look in the mirror knowing that the person looking back actually used to be a fan of these dudes.
