What's funny is that no one is actually trashing the album in disliking it. We're seeing a lot of "too soft", "bad hooks". People haven't mentioned one wack verse, mentioned one horrible track, haven't said album isn't cohensive, or the the beats clash with the Clan. Their only offense/defense has been "bad hooks" and "soft music".

im confused as to which joints are 'soft'. Preacher's Daughter, ok I guess a bit

hopefully not talking about the title track or Reunion, that would not be an opinion I could take seriously. soul does not equal soft

Exactly, it's grown up music for Wu. Maybe the one's bashing weren't brought up on soul. I love Preacher's Daughter. M-e-f killed that ish. And I love Reunion as well. It's no more soft than 80% of Ghost's catalog...and less than that half-a$$ R&B collabos Rae been doin lately. I think I'll listen to it tomorrow and then put it up for a while.

PIONEER THE FRONTIER!!!!!!!!

WOW. Like, wow for real, wow. Not wow cuz I love Wu Tang and this is home team. Not that wow. Good song wow.

that sound in here RZA used somewhere else in the past? Like when he flipped the joint from Meth's album into 'Poisonous Darts'.

This album being panned makes me feel all the more crazy and detached from life. Once amazon masters drones i may stop leaving the house altogether.

Album is dope as hell, could've used more ODB sprinkled throughout.

Very strong start/finish with a few songs in the middle that are not that exciting, but not wack either.

Singing threw me off at first but on repeats I don't mind it that much, assume Nathaniel is Rza's baby mama's younger brother or sth.

Agree with this 100%.

My initial opinion of the album was all the clan members delivered on this album. I'm a fan of live instrumentation personally, so I ain't trippin at all. It's a couple of hooks and one beat i'm not feeling ...... that does not make a terrible album. In fact, it makes a pretty good album.

Btw ... "Brother I think that necklace is causing you too much trouble" is one of the best uses of kung fu dialogue samples ever:wow:

the bad hooks shyt was way the fukk overblown. im actually legit disgusted by that fake ass knock at right now. this is why i hate fake ass wack online ass nikkas. i barely noticed the sung hooks EXCEPT for miracle which i love. But, hey, I love 'Chop Chop Ninja' too. I was one of one who knew that was an ode to Caron Wheeler.

i feel like in 1994 cats would have shat on release yo delf.

this album is dope. i refuse and refute any other claims. i was SO ready to hate, too.
