Elaborate please

7 years later I still don't know why Ghost isn't on it

I think it was some misunderstanding. Ghost insinuated that RZA left him off that track deliberately and said that RZA is a sneaky n!gga. RZA said that he had sent the track out to Ghost to write lyrics too but never received a Ghost verse, or that his verse came late.

No Father To MY Style.. A Son Unique
Heres what cilvaringz has been saying won wucorp after listening to the album:

"I'll tell yall like this, from a Wu-Tang fan perspective, not as Cilvaringz or anything like that, but as a fan like yall, I just heard the whole album in full, and I'm definitely impressed. Not to be biased, but to me it's a really great album. The song "Miracles" is a def favourite and the album sounds cohesive, which for me as a listener is an important factor. I must admit that even I, even though knowing what RZA is capable of, there was some worry about the experimental sound and the use of live instrumentation, but after hearing it twice now, I can't say anything else other than that I really genuinely enjoyed the album and I'm pretty sure many of you will as well."

" think the song FELT is the most vintage Wu sounding.. here's the crazy thing about that song, which I think goes for most of the album. When it starts off, it almost sounds like it's going to be a dubstep track, but soon as the emcees kick in, here come the haunting eerie pianos and harps, that real dark '95 shyt. Miracle is amazing to me, not sure how yall will like it because there's a beautiful singing part that starts it off, almost in '88 Michael Jackson ballad style (not Nathaniel). Don't take that the wrong way, because it's not modern R&B style, just a very beautifully sung part, at least I think so. Then the hard drums come in and it's all harps, piano, flutes, very minor key, eerie, dark and great verses from Deck, Killa, Rae & Ghost.

I've been listening non stop and it's definitely an album you need to listen to from beginning till end, no skipping no hopping from track to track to check what they sound like. It's one of those albums with an emphasis on cohesiveness. Like 'Preachers Daughter', that is a track that you might not pick as a favorite, but how it plays into this album, simply makes sense and it fits. And soon as Meth comes in, it's like ok, only the Wu could rock shyt like this and actually make it work.

Someone posted a video of RZA talking about the album, I think he said it best when he said he was looking for a Wu-Tang sound, but a new version of it. There's dark elements in it, there's funk, there's eerie shyt, hard shyt, memphis soul inspired shyt, and emotional shyt. It's Wu-Tang shyt, nobody could do this type of shyt, but it's simply another chamber, we're still in the temple.

What I like about it as well, is RZA's talent again. I kind of felt over the years that as a producer I could come quite close to mimicking his older work pretty well. Then I hear this and it's like, ok I can't do this, this is another level right here."

I feel the same, bro. Cilvaringz is a funny motherfvcka but his feelings on this album got me pumped to hear it. He's a Wu purist, so him liking the sound of this album is great news to me.

Word. peep how the Once Upon a Time in Shaolin album is in the new Skrillex video too

but yea, I was worried because I thought rza would be doing an album like "family reunuion" where hes re-using known samples straight up and then adding guitars n shyt but so far it seems hes doing a lil of that but will still have that dark wu sound/ Thats the reason i liked 8D was because even to it was littered with wack guitars n shyt, it was DARK and songs like gun will go held me the f down.

cilvaringz desciption of FELT got me jumpin for joy. I cannot fukking wait
