This shyt happens quite frequently with me and I specifically notice its more with young black people lately..

But if another black person catches an attitude with me anytime soon I’m snappin.


I’m at walgreens a few hours ago buying my grandma gifts to give to my aunt for mothers day (literally would not be there for any other reason). So I ask the much younger, black register girl where the giftcards are..

She gives me a weird, goofy look like I work there... so I’m supposed to know. They not even by the registers like usual.

So whatever... Grab my shyt and get in line. I’m not even thinking about this chick

I get to the register again and of course, the card shyt not working. And its just awkward af... im like whats wrong with this bytch? I didn’t even have the energy for attitude or to get a “tone”, I’m hungover af. Just give me my shyt so I can never interact with your ass again. Grabbed my receipt and dipped like “wtf is wrong with you goofy”

And its literally happening alot with younger black people. It’s to the point where it’s confusing because what attitude do you got because YOU working at walmart/walgreens/ wal-whatever the fukk.


You normally wouldn’t catch me caught dead in a walmart/walgreens unless my old ass family wants me to go

So idk what it is. I’m literally in flipflops, sweats, a hat or a hoody. I look normal af to me. I don’t even make eye contact if I don’t need to. And it’s not me because this shyt doesn’t happen with most older black people or any other race really.

But young black women specifically this happens often. Only one fakkit got an attitude with one day and I actually did respond on some disrespectful shyt but thats extremely rare

Tbh some people have bad days my guy. Like today, I’m a cook at a restaurant. And some fakkit kept sending his chicken back because he wanted it well well well we’ll done. And it started pissing me off cuz I basically burnt his shyt after the second call back and he still kept sending it back asking for it to be cooked more. Luckily my manager could see he was blowing the shyt out of me and just asked him if he”d like something else. Also some people are tired of working 30/40 hours a week with bullshyt jobs, only to get like 5/600 every 2 weeks. So they come in mad as shyt. And they can’t “quit” because they need the money. So they’re caught in an endless loop of depression.

None of that shyt is of my concern or my fault. Quit or learn how to be a fukking adult. I went to 3 other stores before this bytch with no issues. Gay white dude at Kholes was polite, 2 medium age bros. At Bestbuy were polite, middle age black lady at Burger King was polite and so was the young white chick.

Then I get to this chick and a whole trash attitude and its not the first time, its common.

Bro I been working at a dollar general for 3 years to pay for college part time and you described that shyt perfectly. I want to quit everyday but the money keeps everything working. To Make matters worst I’m the store manager so I have to work atleast 50 hours a week and more if somebody doesn’t come or something needs to be done . Feel like I live in the store with no time for myself and during school its even less free time. Also on salary so no extra money for working over 50 hours

I spare the aggravation altogether and look for it myself.

I get it, it is indeed their job to service you, but I choose to avoid what I know will be an irritating situation and take matters into my own hands. I rarely ask for help....I see the clerks and I walk right past them. Besides, it's not THAT hard to find what I want anyway. I got enough stressors during my day.

If I’m at an establishment, I try to avoid checking out at a line with a young Becky or brehette behind the counter because it’s always some bullshyt. Only check out with them if there’s no other option in or out the store
