"Hey guys I'm so manly, I only called like 20 of my friends... only 20 friends to come over for lunch nothing serious... and they didn't want me to put them to work and build an oven?!?! Ridiculous! By the way I also have a big heart and care about my mom because I'm not only a man's man, I'm sensitive too because I'm the pinnacle of what a respected, educated male should be."

:ehh:This week I attempted to construct a wood fire pizza oven for my mother. She likes to bake breads for the whole family and she found a kit that was half price at an auction.:ehh: I took a day off. Because these types of projects needed 2 people to lay the foundation and the brickwork, I called 20 of my pals, each of them did not know anything about basic carpentry or any handyman skilled that you would expect a father to teach his sons.:snoop:I even offered them money and delicious woodfire pizza after we finished the project :ohlawd:None of them knew anything about basic brickwork or woodwork. At the end of the day, I had to pay this old Italian dude 300 dollars for a day worth of work :damn:I' ain't a Tradie but I still see basic handy man skills essential for any man to learn. Especially in this economy. Brehs need to start learning those male skills.

New age nikkas go to the Apple app store and look for a app:mjcry:

My dad is a pretty well-rounded manly man, and it's useful and saves a lot of money. I tend to search for those guys who would fit the mold of a "manly man" - not as in muscles but can do basic car stuff and build things for the home.

Not every man knows handy skills because not every man is a handyman. If every man was then there'd be no need for that old Italian dude that finessed you.

Why didn't you ask one of your friends if they wanted to learn how to build an oven?

On the other hand, I'm a male who had no father and don't know how to change my oil or lay bricks or anything. But whatever I'm not mad at it. If there's something that needs to be figured out I've got the brain to do so.

basic life skills missed by a whole generation of fatherless children. Its a plus no matter what, from convicts coming home to doctors. one time or another in life you may need to use your hands. if you like spanish broads, its a must. they love nikkas who work wit their hands. even more if you got brain too.

The Truth
As stupid as I think OP's original post is (complaining about his homeboys not wanting to help him build a mini pizza house on they day off) my dad was around and has basic handyman skills. He does electrical work and house installations on the side as well as having his own landscaping business that brings in an extra 800-1200 a week and I help him every time I am there (he wants me to take it over but idk if I want to do that shyt all the time).

I also did construction (hated it), know how to carry/shoot/clean guns, throw a punch, and do a bunch of other random shyt so it just depends on how you were brought up.
