That shyt looks dope no lie, but you got to know what your friends interests are or what they're good at

I they wanted to know some shyt or showed interest in it before then I would hit them up about something like that.

But if one of my homies just called me on the weekend to do something like that (and I have had similar experiences) then I'm curbing them quick af.

Like this Friday we going to the rifle/gun range... That's something I got interested in and tagged along with. I box, so a few other cats found out and showed interest so I brought them along. I didn't just got them up like "what you doing tonight bruh? Wanna come get punched in the face with me?"

As stupid as I think OP's original post is (complaining about his homeboys not wanting to help him build a mini pizza house on they day off) my dad was around and has basic handyman skills. He does electrical work and house installations on the side as well as having his own landscaping business that brings in an extra 800-1200 a week and I help him every time I am there (he wants me to take it over but idk if I want to do that shyt all the time).

I also did construction (hated it), know how to carry/shoot/clean guns, throw a punch, and do a bunch of other random shyt so it just depends on how you were brought up.

real fukking man here, if the world had more of you we'd all be in a better place.

Omg. I think about this all the time. Growing up and even now my dad could fix everything. We a only had to call repair men when it was something major. Some of These young dudes can't even check oil in a car

I blame the over enthaphesis of going to school and getting a good job that actually doesn't exist over being well rounded human beings.

Well I agree, there are things that men should be able to do or at least learn to figure out. Building a brick pizza oven is not one of them, however if you asked me to help you ,I would and try and learn something new

I use to fix cars with my pops when I was younger and I hated it. I was basically forced to help him because he tried to instill the value of being self independent.

It worked, but I just hated working on vehicles. I hated the smell of oil and getting dirty, but more importantly I hated working in such a tight confined space.

I was able to do replace my rotors and brakes on my own this summer which was kind of ironic since I hated that shyt as a kid. I won't every try to drop transmission or replace an alternator, but I'm content with just the simple fixer uppers.

I'm currently remodeling 2 rooms in my house. My computer room is already done. Just repainted the interior walls, removed that god awful popcorn ceiling and repainted that. Replaced all the outlets, installed a ceiling fan, replaced the baseboards and trim moulding and blinds.

shyt cost me about $600 for all the material but man the results is unreal. I'm fukking proud of myself man. I basically learned all this shyt on YouTube and anyone can do it.

I'm working on my next room but I don't have the funds as it will need a shyt ton of work. Gotta replace the walls as its all old and ugly wood paneling and replace the ceilings with are made out of soft tile. Already done stripping the walls and ceiling, just need money for new insulation, drywall, mud and tools.

It's one thing to have handy skills for something vital like fixing your car or even fixing your light switch. It's another to use it for some luxury shyt like a brick oven?
