TV ratings mean more than crowd reactions, much much more actually. Roman defending his title sparingly makes the world title feel like a big deal when it's defended. Moxley wrestling randoms with 0 build makes the title seem secondary.

I’m sure neither company is having issues being a top rated tv show right now. Attendance seems to be fine too. Maybe having random title matches every week will eventually leave AEW struggling but nothing of that sort seems to be happening so far.

I dig it, but it just makes it hard to watch sometimes when you have a title defense, and we all know the outcome and the booking in advance. Yes it beats a champion being at home or part timing, but I refuse to believe that Simon BelMOX out here beating a Ace of NJPW, the Ace of DDT, Rush and countless others and then all of the sudden loses to Punk (which seems like the case near All Out).

I just wish shyt was wild unpredictable. Like remember when NJPW went apeshyt and gave the belt to EVIL of all people because "Gedo is a fukking lunatic". The entire TSC (well puro gang) lost their shyt in a weird way. Like no one was expecting that booking to happen. Maybe Mox need to lose to Danhausen or some shyt so I can get my bubble burst like good ole times.

Breh wtf, New Japan giving the belt to EVIL was a horrible fukking decision that hurt them with westerner fans AND Japanese fans basically everyone shytted on the call and even the "bu bu but Gedo is a genius, let's see how this goes" ended up proven wrong and some even stopped watching get all the way out here with this hindsight 20/20 take.

You are alone on a fukking island if you just want title changes to happen because you don't see them coming. Remember when Sheamus beat Cena out of nowhere? Huge surprise right? Didn't mean shyt for WWE, didn't mean shyt for Sheamus and fans didn't actually give a fukk. Same damn thing happened with EVIL.

I don't know what you expect from the Mox thing. He's literally an interim belt holder because they want to wait for Punk to return. So you either complain because Mox would be a paper champion that doesn't do anything or you complain because his title matches are predictable

I think you just need a hiatus breh. Don't watch for a couple of months and comeback when you can pick and choose stuff and not depend on out of nowhere stuff.
