hip hop was always lame, we made better genres :manny:
Nah you made it lame something just off.:patrice:
can't explain it but even the spirit of hip hop is gone
music in general we can look at 1960's-2000's it was something was there shyt even with dancing

and not it in way that "back in my day was better" just something is off energy wise

Is it that gen z when it comes to music is trash they don't have the "soul" or fire.
do any of them read sheet music or play anything.

shyt back to hip hop though it's almost like cacs in black face now.

millennials are cringe but at least millennials have legitimate nostalgia and can remember a time before the internet changed everything. when gen-z ages into adulthood and starts reflecting on & romanticizing the past (like millennials do now) wtf do even have to be nostalgic about?

"remember how great covid-lockdown was? how we all stayed in our house and binged brainrot content on tik tok?" :pachaha:

the nostalgia cycle is already starting for them tho and there's a big trend right now for gen-z to be nostalgic for 2000's corporate asthetics like "frutiger aero" for example and I like how other youtubers are calling them out for this fake & lame nostalgia

I feel bad for them honestly :francis: gen z honestly has to be the WOAT generation. other than subjective/individual experiences they really don't have big, shared cultural moments to look back on like :gladbron: as a generation the same way millennials, gen-x, boomers, etc do
This is exactly why the generation wars continue. What even brought this on? If they want to reminisce, let ‘em. It’s not like some of them aren’t legitimate adults.

And how did you manage to throw shots at millennials too?! TF we do?!

In fact, what generation are you??

You need life experience and memories to have nostalgia. Mofos gonna be like "remember that time we hung out online". They don't go outside and when they do they are recording what they are supposed to be experiencing. They won't have shyt to share but videos of places they went to film/take pics and not have fun.

:scust:

Yeah I'm hating

Always was, I can't wait for the genre to die, we're the foundation of American music and the media would have you think it all started and stopped at rap

There's better genres

we are talking about gen z so I have no idea what point your trying to make

lol showing rappers delight when talking about better genres...that's hip hop.

also I said 1960's-2000's music was special...(regardless of the genre) which gen y grew up listening to because our parents are boomers and have silent gen aunts and uncles couldn't help but listen to good stuff actually as a listener millennials we had it good .

so your point is invalid unless you are being contrary to be contrary
